So Arsenal Fans do you think Arsenal have potential to win the leauge this year after a dissapointing 4th place finish? Will they need to spend BIG money in the transfer window ? Has Arsene Wenger out stayed his welcome of manager of the prestigious club? Would a new manager send the club to the number 1 position in the premier leauge?
Wenger insits his side have "quality" but does he need more funds to spend in the transfer window? With the possible departure of Cesc Fabregas after a number of clubs have expressed interest in the player but will he stay loyal or will he make Arsenal a lot of money in the transfer window ?
In my opinon Arsenal have the potential to win the leauge with the help of some more funds being put into Arsenals piggy bank and maybe the possibility of a new manager..... But Arsenal Fans do you think that Wenger needs urgently replacing? He has been at the club since 1996 and has won the leauge 3 times since 96.
So Arsenal Fans should Wenger be replaced and should there be more funds made avaliable ?

Potential - Yes, with the right 3/4 signings.
Have to spend BIG money - Not neccessarily. As long as the likes of Man City and Chelsea don't turn our targets into the prize of an auction we will be able to sign the 3/4 players for a reasonable amount partially covered by selling Denilson, Bendtner and the likes.
    Wenger out - No
Would a new manager send us to number 1 - No, That would almost certainly mean rebuilding totally. That would take time.

there are certain things that don't need to be discusssed in this thread, as they will not be happeneing this summer. the first is having a new manager - unless wenger dies, he will be the manager next season. the second, i think, is fabregas leaving. i don't believe he will be going anywhere but barca, and as they aren't willing to stump up the desired sum, then it looks like he may be here for another season.

i think if wenger is given a reasonable amount to spend (say £30, £40 million) then we have every chance of winning the league next season. we had the potential at the beginning of last season - just too many players still in early development, too many players whose heart didn't seem to be fully commited to the club at key times in the season and as always, too many injuries. if RVP can stay fit all season (doubtful), if we can get good enough cover for song, another quality winger, and the players realise they need to put 100% in each and every game then we have every chance.

realistic prediction is 2nd, 3rd. as an arsenal fan, you should always expect a capitulation come february 2012.

You already have an article with this idiotic view.
No-one at Arsenal is saying the squad is too young, Mr Wenger himself stated the squad was experienced enough.

Again, you are living up to your username.

Defoe + Scott Parker + two other big names, and you'll be good to go.

I'm not actually a WUM. That's the ironic thing about all of this.

Apparently Barca are on the brink of signing Alexis Sanchez. If that's the case, then I can't see Fabregas leaving. It is said that they're paying around 25M for him, I can't see them spending another 40-50M on Fabregas.

All joking aside, I really do think that it is going to cost you another trophyless season if you hang on to Fabregas. His heart clearly isn't in it, and the last thing you need is a luxury player, if you are going to chase the title. The competition is going to be even harder for you next year, with effectively four teams (you, us, United and Liverpool) all chasing 3rd and 4th spots. I think Chelsea and City, with their untold millions, will strengthen, whereas the rest of us will attempt to consolidate as best we can.

Why would you want to carry the baggage of a player whose heart isn't in playing for you?

So posting an article rubbishing Wilshere and suggesting Huddlestone would be a better choice for England, and repeatedly posting that Arsenal need/ are buying the awful Defoe is not WUMing??

What I have read of your posts have been far from thought provoking, just anti-Arsenal BS.

I have only read a small number of your posts, so may be wrong on the whole, but what I have read has been WUMing pure and simple.

You are the WUM, that I can very much assure you. I, on the other hand, attempt to engage in meaningful debate. It's rather difficult that it just so happens that there are only a couple of Gooners on this site who appear adult enough and courageous enough to enter that debate without reverting to personal invective as soon as they hear an opinion that (fairly) criticises their players when they've had a very bad day at the office.

I suggest you grow up, and learn to debate rather than look for a WUM in every woodpile.

I honestly think Arsenal could win this year by just changing the asst manager for someone with defensive experience and the gob to get Wenger's attention. Sadly Pat (the legend) Rice is too much of a lap dog.

Also our current team have shown they can beat absolutely anyone when their minds are tuned in and half the first 11 aren't out injured.

Yes I am a WUM, thats why I repeatedly post on my teams local rivals board all the time!!

Wilshere had a bad day at the office? He was the best player for England, and dragged them back into the game.

Are you posting similar articles on the Man City board? Man Utd? Chelsea? Aston Villa?

    No?

You are either a WUM or someone lacking football knowledge due to a bias towards your own team.

Can Arsenal win the Title? Not with the current squad.

I think next season will be much tougher than last. Arsenal really had a chance of winning a mediocre season and blew it.

Should Wenger be replaced? No. Who the Hell could you replace him with? So long as he keeps Arsenal in the top 4 then everyone is happy, apparently.

I seriously believe you could do a lot worse than try to get Benitez to coach you.

At least give the man a try.
