When the club first mentioned these back in June, I thought it would be a great idea - giving 'occasional' match-goers such as myself a chance at getting tickets more easily.

Since applying, and then being told to expect mine in mid-July, I've received nothing and heard nothing - in spite of repeating the request twice. Am starting to think they don't want me. :(

Any one else having the same problem, or did those of you who ordered one all get one?

I have received mine recently. Use your Fan ID anyway in the meantime to buy but all the card will do is load your ticket so that you will just have to place it in the turnstyle code reading thingamejig!

Little Miss W_Y has still not received her plastic ST holder wallet thingy and I got mine a few weeks ago - she is not a happy bunny...they seem a bit disorganised at the moment!

Mini Bloother and I have both got ours, but they arrived a week apart. Mine arrived last week, so they are being issued. Don't forget there's in excess of 11,000 ST holders plus, I would guess, a good fair few card only patrons to process.

Three STs now at Chez Kismet; the new addition arrived weeks ago, two 'fan packs' arrived for moved seats 10 days apart but no Fan Cards. For the Bournemouth game we were issued paper tickets and requested to wait until yesterday and if they don't arrive then new ones would be printed for collection from the TO.

Apparently the issue is with Royal Mail as loads sent out have been lost/mislaid so call them to get it re-issued.

Is this the same fan card that I've had in my wallet since before 2009 (when I was compelled to forget live footie for a year or two)? I had it back then because as a muso regularly gigging on Saturday nights, I couldn't justify a season ticket: I started pre-booking for the games I could get to once it became well nigh impossible to walk up and pay cash- which I'd always done prior to the last Prem season.

It has my fan id on it and was the means by which I was able to establish my bona fides for my Wembley ticket.

edit: in other words, should I be applying for this card?

Yes you should re-apply - using your existing fan ID email the ticket office. You will need it to enter the ground.

Sadly the ticket office is more of a shambles most of the time. Massive queue for play off tickets (what, you did n't see this coming??)
About 30 minute q for Reading Tickets after last week game.
    Oi. Scott. Sort it out!!!

Seats out but put partition barriers up so you can't get massive crowd surges (maybe 7 steps between barriers), beer hoses hanging from the roof like oxygen masks or even better hooters style beer waitress service to the standing spaces now we're talking a full match day experience....

Aberdeen - isn't it strange that there is only 1 Hooters in England (not sure about your neck of the woods), yet so many in the US. We were just discussing it on saturday in Reading...still it makes for a good day out at Forest.

<laugh> - having made a bit of a fuss about it, I now doubt that I will get to use it much before next year thanks to my knee op next month.
