Watching SSN now and they've just showed the transfer news, first bit was Luis Gustavo going to Wolfsburg and then the second bit was us, we've apparently opened talks with Anzhi over the signing of Willian. Should mention that it's breaking news on SSN too
Not a bad deal as it's clear there are uncertainties over how he has developed in the last year or 2. If he doesn't become the player we think he can be - see ya later. If he does, sign him up.
Liverpool agree deal to sign Valencia defender Aly Cissokho on an initial season-long loan, according to Times football reporter Tony Barrett.
"opened talks" means nothing thats just reporting rumours. i'll wait for lfc website. sometimes they are busy before games with stuff but they should pop this up.
http://www1.skysports.com/football/...a-deal-to-sign-cissokho-on-a-season-long-loan Says agreed on there and it's being reported on SSN, the link offers a lot of information too.
On loan and probably only back-up to Enrique? I don't really care that much. I care more about how well Robinson does
well ard.... sounds better. no but the fact is now we've a bit of a change i nthe squad, add willian and i think the whole thing becomes about quality... i agree on CM quality but clearly rodgers things henderson and allen can fight for a role. henderson in my view is next name on the hit list to go.
sort of agree sadly mito, think Henderson will be the next on the hit list, personally think it should be Allen,Borini and Skrtel who are shoved out the door before him, as he has potential, i wouldn't be bothered if we got rid of any of them 3 to be honest.
So if we get Cissokho on loan, get Willian would is be greedy to hope Sakho comes as well? Even if we only get the first two, think we can cope without another CB if BR has confidence in Skrtel. At the start of the summer if someone had said we'd get £20mil for Carroll & Downing and sign Migonolet, Toure, Aspas, Alberto, Cissokho & Willian I think everyone would have been very happy with that. Only thing that would have made it better is if "he who shall not be named" hadn't thrown a hissy fit about wanting to leave.
