Klose on a free would be ideal.

We need some experienced quality players this summer and he fits the bill perfectly.

Alot of the Bayern team were poor last season but on a free transfer and for the right deal I'd love him to come. As others said there's not a lot to lose with him.

The last experienced German international striker we signed didn't do a bad job did he.

Klinsmann, Ziege and Freund all did a good job at Spurs and I'm sure Klose would do the same.

KPB puts a dent in that one. He was so bad, he was demoted to the next footballing nation beginning with G...

Never a truer word spoken, my friend!

I wrote a post on the old 606, something along the lines that I would rather we had any three other strikers, from anywhere else in the football league (not just the PL) in place of the three clowns we had playing for us this last season. They could not have done any worse, and the chances are they would have done much better.

And, yes, Klose would be a fantastic signing for us, and just the sort of thing that rocks Harry's boat. A great player nearing the end of his career, on a free. Triffic!

Indeed, he'd probably ask for fairly big wages, but that can be expected, and I think he'd be great to lead us up front. Him and Pavlyuchenko could work quite well together, as he's a poacher, and Pavlyuchenko can hold it up fairly well

Have to say a lot of you don't really a clue what you're talking about, as if you look at Klose's club record then its pretty poor for a striker that has a great record at international level.

Klinsmann was great at club and international level.

Klose is great at international, average/good at club level (in a pretty average league).

He isn't the answer and would be a mistake paying this guy big wages on the basis of his international record.

Bundesliga isn't that weak tbh. Bayern got to the CL final against Inter, no mean feat

Thats bayern mate, the league didnt get the CL final, a club did, thats like saying greece is a great footballing country cause they won the euro's or the Portuguese league is good because of their success in europe.

german league isn't great, much like the dutch league isn't great but both leagues do have clubs with great history that now and then produce top teams/players and while Klose clearly has some talent for scoring, its all at international level and his club record really isn't anything special.

Pavlyuchenko hattrick for Russia. How Ironic. Our striker comes into form at the end of the season after misfiring all year.

Klose has had 2 poor seasons - 5 this season, 6 last season but you don't score 61 goals for any country let alone Germany by being poor.

    Friedel
    Klose
    Leandro Damiao
    Scott Parker

Sell the deadwood, focus on getting back into the top 4 and try and win one of the 3 cup competitions we will be in next season.

You practically just admitted he is past it.

He is 32, never been prolific in a fairly average league his two worst seasons have been the past two, so not only has his performances at club level got worse after hitting 30, you want him to move to a faster, superior league and be a hit? not gonna happen mate!
