I've watched him get injured (allegedly), hestitate, lose concentration and get beaten in the tackle for 2 years. This has not been compensated for by the rare good run forward and the even rarer cross. I've come to the conclusion that this bloke does not really want to play football, but doesn't have any other choice. Wenger got rid for a reason, he's a dud.
Not as a defender, just hasn't the right instinct but always thought could be a decent wing back/left midfield. I'd still sell though.
On the fence with this one and happy to support whatever decision HR etc deem best as I'm sure they will understand his true level of commitment.
Fair enough. I was going to say you guys at the game would see that better than us...but then I saw your location !!!!
Great news if he goes Nothing against his ability going forward but he's a bad apple and his antics have wound the players and management up. Milks every injury he gets and we've got no time for soft cases.
Could always consider playing him infront on Yun on the left and push Jr out to the right with Barton and Ale in the middle. (Provided his paper hamstrings hold out!) Won't happen, but its obvious that he is better going forward than he is defending.
Remember, we signed him immediately after Arsenal lost 8-2, I think that might have given us a clue. Sunderland for the drop if they get him...
