One more, this is a favourite of Valleys hope you like it this is for all the Bluebirds out there, except Taff you miserable bastard :D:D

I went on a date with a girl with a stutter.

The waiter asked what she would like to order.

    She said, "N-n-n-n-n-n-n-n-n-n-n-n-n-n-n-n..."

At that point, I decided to help her out and shouted, "BATMAN!"

Only a few people know what Langstons were owed.

Somebody who used to post and give us a little inside info, advised that the most that Langstons would get was around the £16 million mark.

That was posted about 2 yrs ago.

Well you Bluebirds really need to stand shoulder to shoulder on this one, because in my view a name change is a bridge too far, and if you want signatures on a petition, then I gladly help, as I'm sure most jacks would, the guy is just walking all over you, you need to organise against this at the first hint, and I would say now is a good time, I do feel for you boys.

Only Sam really knows what Lanstones were owed the book value of £25m or whatever figure WOL can be bothered to type today is acknowledged to be bollocks with huge gaps in any sort of proof that money was invested.
There was a debt, it was agreed and paid off.

As for the name first of all VT was talking about Hull after being questioned on it. Second he may change part of the name if he deems the Hull experiment to be success but if the Hull thing works and suddenly millions of overseas supports start buying Hull shirts (right now that feels like the daftest thing I've ever written in here) then many others will follow suit.
In case you lads haven't noticed and you should have because you've been here longer. IT'S ALL ABOUT THE MONEY! the PL is massive business, one of the richest in the world with ever increasing tv money and ticket prices through a recession. Anything that can give a financial edge in that market will be tried whether that's red shirts or gimmicky nicknames. If Hulll are seen to make a success of marketing their Tigers image they will not be the last.

Have to say all this concern for us, the red shirts have been done to death, the debts on its way out, you'd better hope he changes the name or you lot might actually have to talk about football when you pop over for our little chats.....

If you read the fuller interview regarding the debt, he's currentlt buying out the minority shareholders so he owns the club outright at which point he converts his loans into equity, he is the sole share holder and the club is debt free. May take weeks, may take months.

I did comment on a thread a week or so back that they must be the highest posters on another team's board on the whole of not606. It's why I suggested us meeting on the Newport board. Can't see everton or liverpool spending as much time on the other's board. Same for the manchesters, sunderland and newcastle or any other local rivalry.

Funny thing is, there is never any mantion of the positive things going on. No comment on the submission of the planning application for our stadium expansion. No mention of their stadium expansion either.

You'd have thought the latter would have been of more interest to them rather than the work Tan is doing to buy up minority shareholders and make the club debt free. If you read today's interview with him, he's put a timescale of 2 months on making the club debt free. He said he'd clear the langston's debt, he did. He said he'd give MM £25M to spend on players, failed on that one as he said it might rise as high as £35M. He said he'd expand the stadium, he's submitted the planning apps.

Seems true to his word on most counts.

Alright, he's done some things that we don't particularly like, but he never said he wouldn't do them.

That is just nonsense you would have a club to support. Portsmouth, Coventry are and have been in worse places than your club were and are still surviving, Take Newport out of buisness and now back in the league. There would have always been a Cardiff city, where as now there probably wont. You all took the easy option and gave your club away.

It's a free country Taff. Just like JH starting tenuous threads about our club to get a reaction.

Have I mentioned anything about freedom of speech? The fact a lot of you take delight in what you view as us selling out speaks volumes and shows what a bunch of ungrateful folk some of you are. All for banter but a balanced view would be nice once in a while.

Oh and some of your lot are any different, give me a break, I remember times when the roles were reversed, its the joys of rivalry, we had to put up with the crap long enough, (stadium not being ours, debts not paid from previous owners, not paying rent for the stadium, need i go on), that all pretty much changed when we beat you to the Premier League, lets see how its like in reversal. I personally never got annoyed about it, its part parcel of a rivalry, little digs at each other, but its clearly that you yourself taff, and certain others don't like that sort of stuff, I mean its harmless fun at your expense, its not going to hurt you physically, its just that you are taking it all too bloody seriously.

Chill out, and send it back our way, make it interesting, don't have a hissy fit and throw a tantrum over it. God I hope you got some fans that still have a backbone that is willing to fight back. (Sorry couldn't resist that one)

The fact is all the stuff about the jacks is TRUE !!!

You seem to be commenting on a shock headline created by the WOL, The story has no mileage in it other than for those to try and put a negative spin on it.

I prefer the real part which was VT donating £1 Million to local Charities, but carry on with your hatred <ok>

But why should we do that? Do you honestly believe the best way forward for our club is to go into liquidation, pay back a tiny amount to all our creditors/local businesses etc. all because of a colour? Portsmouth and Coventry had no choice but to go that way, given that option or to play in a different colour in the Premier League i think i know what most of them would choose.

If you lot can't handle this then how are you all going to cope when you get walloped on the field come November?

We're just offering support because we can see what's happening at your club even if you can't.

When the name change comes about (and it will) if any of your lot actually decide to object and do something about it I will be the 1st one here to offer my support and sign any petition you want.

Ah but it is not, we didn't owe rent, that was to do with Stadco not us, same as it was brought up recently about us not allowing Carmarthen Town to play at the liberty, but good old Cardiff did, again that was stadco, not the swans, but then truth only suits when its aimed at you, when its aimed at us, as long as its in the paper its truth, but when its about your club, its not. So forgive us for sending it back just as we receive it when it suits you guys.
