Gerrard looked sharp last night, a few bad passes but a good 60 mins in a competitive game will do him the world of good. Working on Saturday.... Which sucks!
He look interested, constantly wanting the ball (although that is partly Woy using him as our Pirlo; everything must go through our Stevie) but I wouldn't say sharp. I'm not saying he isn't sharp, just that it was easy for him to find space last night because Scotland dropped back into two banks of five when out of possession. He was finding his passing at short to medium range but not sure he had a successful long range effort did he? PS...with the modern game involving a lot more smaller players, does anyone else think Gerrard looks massive nowadays?
Virgin Media have finally agreed a deal with BT sport its free for all XL customers will be able to watch it now on a tv and not my computer
Involving was right you monkeyspunk batards! "involving a lot more smaller players" However, if that's not what you meant then I have no idea what you're talking about!
Just had a quick poke around to see how the inbreds have done this summer, and it is not that impressive, with 3 transfers, one not going through until January, for some reason, so two new defenders... and they have only played 3 pre-season games None of which against anyone of any value. Positive for Liverpool, is that we no longer have anyone kicking in balls to the box, for Shawcross to tidy up all day long. No Downing to run into dead ends and give the ball away. So many reasons to not be all doom and gloom about this game.
