Hull fan and Italian football lover (former Inter season ticket holder) popped over to read the Huddlestone thread and saw this....

Jesus Christ, stay well away. He's like Di Canio at his most mental but with 20 Red Bull and Buckfast down his neck. Gifted talent but if he signs for you, them 2 will have an actual fistfight within 3 months guaranteed.

Not worried mate, it's a load of **** this link by the looks of it.

What's your take on our actual new signings who've played in Italy?

Giaccherini (spelling?) was ok in a good Juve side who had too many 'workmanlike' players. He was another one who fitted that bill so didnt play very often last season hence they decided to cash in. However there is a big difference between Juve and you guys (no offence meant or Im sure taken) and as long as he settles well - which is a BIG if cos Italians largely dont settle well anywhere else - then he should be very good.

The bloke at Lazio (cant recall his name) hardly ever played so Ive honestly got no opinion.

I was more interested in the Quagieralla link to be honest. Reports in Italy suggest he's holding out for a move to another Serie A side but if you did get him he'd be fantastic. He's so silky its ridiculous, he's a bit like a Matt Le Tissier who isnt fat. And considering nobody in italy is spending money other than Napoli who sold him to Juve and dont want him back or indeed Juve themselves then I'd wager he'll go abroad. I can see a year long loan coming on....

All the best.

Oooo dear... Last season alone he punched a fellow team mate in training and injured him for weeks, had an on pitch fight demanding to take a penalty when he wasnt the designated taker and then missed, in a fans interview said "what ****ing more do you want from me?" and had to be smuggled out of the first day of pre season training this year as hundreds of Ultras turned up to attack him and club officials literally feared for his life. He's THAT hated.

And that's off the top of my head! Im sure there's other stuff... Im just praying he doesnt sign for Inter cos rumour is he's holding out for a move there.

<yikes><yikes>..

I'm almost certain we're not interested

If our name is being used Roma are throwing it in to rush Southampton, who are interested

I think any forward who comes in will be Quagallerria and that's only IF Sess leaves

Still hope Sess stays

Snorted coffee all over the laptop reading that!

Sunderland are favorites to sign Osvaldo, according to Italian bookmakers. http://bit.ly/19vwBp0

The bookmakers give Pablo Daniel Osvaldo at Sunderland. The odds that they would like the player to the court of Paolo Di Canio are 6/4, much lower compared to those who see him again in Italy, but with Inter. Osvaldo at Inter is given 10 to 1.

Joe Kinnear must have 'wroted' that article. Anyhow, I am exited as hell about Saturday and with the news sess is staying, I reckon Altidore should come on in the second half due to jet lag.
