yes mate. Although its possibly not the most appropriate description I've used I'm sure you must of understood my point. Do you care to elaborate on your point or where you just been petty?

Its such an important subject that you are ignoring it to argue about "The".
    You couldn't make it up.

I think it is more of an intelligent discussion.

Are you one of these people who can't do something else until you finished a subject you started earlier. I watched England last night. Does it mean that England's match is more important than the name change?

I don't know whether that is partly the reason for the change of name but it makes sense and they did say "perhaps" in the statement.

The HDM poll had 1800 votes and OSC 5000+ votes(so far) for Keeping Hull City AFC by all accounts.

It wont make a scrap of difference to Dr Allam.

Anyway, Hull City is still here. The PL and national media have said that they will still refer to us as Hull City.

Time to move on and support the lads now.

There are a lot of silly posters on here, jokey little cliques, posters who court attention by striving to be 'controversial' knowing it will rankle, social media chatters -and so the overall collective impression is relatively lightweight and bitchy.

You absolute goon! If/when the Club is re-registered for the 2014-15 season, the Premier League and the media will then refer to us as Hull City Tigers, or even Hull Tigers, which Allam wants it to be.

This thread so far consists of petersaxon giving intelligent, reasonable replies in a calm fashion with those responding sounding like bitchy, wumming teens just trying to stir **** for no reason.

And those against the name change need to calm down? You couldn't make it up.

No one has said they will not be supporting the team. We are just not supporting the dictorial stance of AA. Why should we move on. The owner of Chelsea, the owner of Man U, the owner of Liverpool and the owner of Man City have put hundreds of Millions of pounds more than the Allams into their clubs and they have not tried to change the name. The new owner of Fulham has actually said he considers it a silly idea. In fact the only public support that has come from the owners is from that dopey twat that owns Cardiff.

They may profess to speak on behalf of the fans but they most certainly don't speak for me.

Instead of coming out with useless rhetoric why don't they try doing something constructive like organize a whip round to raise 11 million pounds.

This is why I think we should direct our attention to the Premier League. They don't want their "brand" to become a joke. They know why other countries love our football and it's not because our clubs have animal names.

What a pointless argument that is.

"If you haven't got several million, you've no right to complain"

They didn't profess to speak on behalf of the fans. What made you state that? Did you want them to include in their statement that they didn't speak for you?

    You think that is constructive?

can't you just have a physical protest in the street , at the ground , anywhere and count then numbers then
Look altho its an important issue and peoples opinions count , there is a lot of flapping that those not massivly bothered about Allams plans
to change the name are somehow seen as being negative, wrong or apathetic .

Personally i think ive read 7 Essays 23 Suicide notes and a whole lot of scaremongering - regards the anti stance to the name
I just wish those so moved by it would organise a march and see how people really feel.
