So I stated definitively on Monday that it was fact that the clause had expired & you called me a bullshitter over it, I've subsequently been proven to be correct & you're labelling it as pure guesswork. lol, I was never going to win that one with you was I? Not that I'm arsed like, I was just letting you know what the truth was.
You'll never win one of those debates without a source to back it up. I could state that it's fact that Rooney won't be sold to Chelsea and later be proven right, but ultimately that would just be a guess on my part. People are just far too used to ITKs claiming they know this or that to be a fact for whatever reason only for it to later turn out to be a guess based on various levels of unproven information. The clause was either going to have expired or not, so it was just a 50:50 whether or not you were right regardless of what information you claim to have mate.
To be fair, Twitter is just another media form, it's no less reliable than news websites if the source of the Tweet is a journalist or someone involved in Football. That' said, it's no more relaible either and the news papers and sites just out out ever rumour they can regardless of what proof their is behind it. I don't trust any stories until the player or club/s involved officially confirm it. It's nice to dream that we'll get Ronaldo and Bale and Fabregas and Mess and Aguero and that in January we've already got an agreement to sign Neymar. Not happening but it's good to dream. I guess that's what we have Football Manager for though.
I understand that people may get interested if a player, club or journalist posts something, but a lot of the so called tweets claiming some transfer news are from people who are making it up.
IMO not really, he'd be okay alongside Carrick but his best position is behind the striker and we have Kagawa and Rooney for that, not to mention that that is also Anderson and Cleverleys best position too. I'd like to see Kagawa play their reguarly this season.
I read somewhere before that Moyes and Felliani see his best position as a DCM. He prefers not to play off the striker and was there due to injuries etc.
Fellaini walks into your midfield every day of the week for me. IMO he is better than Kagawa, Anderson and Cleverly. I'm just surprised its taken Moyes this long to get him signed up
United bid £12m for Baines & when they placed it, said it was a final offer, we rejected it out of hand, that was over a month ago & there's been no further bids. You've never placed a bid for Fellaini.
