I've heard that United have a particularly bloated Christmas schedule too. They never get penalties at Anfield. ****ING REFS!!!! etc etc
He's already cracking up bless him ---------------------- The Premier League has rejected claims by Manchester United boss David Moyes that its fixture list is fixed. The defending champions face Chelsea at home and Manchester City and Liverpool away in their opening five games and Moyes described the club's start as the "hardest for 20 years". "I hope it's not because Manchester United won the league quite comfortably last year that the fixtures have been made much more difficult," the new United boss said. "I find it hard to believe that's the way the balls came out of the bag, that's for sure." Man Utd's opening five fixtures Swansea (a) - August 17 Chelsea (h) - August 26 Liverpool (a) - September 1 Crystal Palace (h) - September 14 Manchester City (a) - September 22 With United starting their defence on Saturday with a tricky visit to Swansea, live on Sky Sports, Moyes has been reassured of the selection method. A Premier League spokesman said: "David has put those concerns to us. We have absolutely assured him the process is random and above board. He has accepted those assurances." Manchester City face Newcastle in their opening match before taking on two of the promoted teams, Cardiff City and Hull City. They then travel to Stoke City before entertaining United in the first Manchester derby of the season at the Etihad Stadium on 22nd September. Chelsea open their campaign with back-to-back home games against Hull and Aston Villa before travelling to Old Trafford. ----------------------------- If this was Ferguson they'd have redone the whole lot, not anymore Utd! Moyes bricking the start of the league, its like the feeling you get when starting secondary school !
Moyes is a clown about this tbh, what he should be thinking is the points from those games and it getting handier a little after that He has to play those teams sometime, better to get it out of the way, anything can happen in the early games so it is to his benefit tbh
What is he trying to say? Does he think Man Utd only win the league regularly because they don't have to face the sides he always struggled against as Everton manager?
Isn't their start similar to ours last season? Was he concerned then..did anyone think,it was rigged?
I cant wait to see him explaining a disappointing result in his post match interview. This jobs to big for him
Yeah I know, we wont. We always beat Moyes <crossedfingerssmiley> And besides, i'll just stay away if we lose. You have to be here to mod
who cares about 1st september. now is now.. if you are too afraid to rip the piss now then you will never rip the piss cos there's always a pay day sometime. usually.... all the piss ripping now gets forgotten by the time the payday comes.
Well, if he believes that it's the hardest they've had for twenty years, and it's somehow been rigged that way, then that would suggest that in those other years it's been rigged in their favour. Which is what everyone else has been saying during that time Seriously though, a bizarre thing to say. Imagine if it had come from BR, the press would go nuts.
ooo very diva like I dont hide away either to be fair, if we deserved to lose then i'll say even though be pissed of about it
What I find odd is you can understand him moaning about the fact they've got big teams at start and saying how it may affect the team and start to season blah blah blah, but the fact he says "I find it hard to believe that's the way the balls came out of the bag, that's for sure" suggests he actually believes that it was fixed
