I'm a Jock, and I still see my fellow Scots boasting about beating the English at Bannockburn in 1314. The rivalry and inferiority complex is pretty embarrassing.

I would describe mines as hovering around both fear and loathing...

Actually pity is probably a little too generous, more like contempt.

Not sure there is a smiley for that ??

If we're going to care about internationals, then well done to Northern Ireland for beating Capello's Russia this evening.

That pic rather sums up how I am feeling about Arsenals chances of even making the top four with our current paper thin squad wtf is going on with us!!!! Spurs signings would all have made us stronger gonna struggle to stay ahead of them at this rate.

Moyes crying about his first 5 fixtures which include Swansea away, Liverpool away, Chelsea home, and City home. Maybe someone should tell him he gets to play every team twice.

Interesting how the writer of the article shows fixtures for the top 5... and Villa. Must be a Villa fan. Good ol' impartial BBC!

Ahh... he always makes me think back on how positive I was about the very near future of the club in the early days of the 2007/2008 season. One of the most technically gifted CFs in the world in Ade with Eduardo, RvP, Bendtner (in his super sub days), to team up with, the most eye pleasing, technically gifted and surprisingly direct midfield I've ever witnessed in Cesc-Hleb-Rosicky, even Eboue doing real damage on the wing, Mathieu Flamini becoming such a good DM that Diarra never got a chance... Sagna looking the best RB in the world by a mile... Clichy the best attacking left back in the league...

a whole 2nd team that would make a mockery of anyone but the top 4 teams in the Carling Cup, while nowadays I'd be afraid to face a league 2 side if we didn't have at least 6-7 first teamers, our depth has gotten so bad.

"Mental strengs" was about the only thing missing. <whistle> (as the excuse of employing tactics once in a while to win games is foreign to us)

That team was so good to watch and the last of the Wenger teams that the opposition feared. That midfield was magic to watch but that fool Hleb had thoughts of grandeur and left. Wenger's team made him look better than what he was and his end was proof of that.
