    She got an A in English lit, B in English lang and C in History. She wants to do a degree in English lit. Leeds (first choice) wanted three As, but she was told they might vary this if they wanted the particular student. She's into Manchester Met anyway if she can't persuade Leeds, but I think/hope she will.

    Ultimately, she wants to be a journalist <yikes>

    No-one gets to me. That Zingy twat thinks he does, but that's what I choose to let him think. She does what she wants to do. The older one wants to teach at high school. I suggested a PhD and then lecture to people who are actually want to do history, but no. That's her choice.

    What a waste of an MA, Teaching!?!?! <yikes> Get a grip and put her in a convent before she royally ****s up like that!

    People who get 2.2 BA's who then get the post grad teaching certificate go teach, and are ****. Best teachers are the ones who have real jobs first then go back and teach, all the professional teachers are thick ****ers with no clue.

    A CONVENT <yikes> You don't know me or her very well. That's the last place she'd go anywhere near. If she gets a distinction in her MA, I think she may blow the PGCE course away and do the PhD.
