Yeah he was fantastic last night. He seems to be really enjoying his football. Night and Day difference between where he is now and where he was just last year at the international level. Aron Johannsson's and Michael Bradley also had a good game. Johannsson in particular looks like he has a lot of potential, just needs to work on his finishing.

Anyone who has bothered to watch Jozy over the past two seasons with AZ and the US Nats will recognize that he is a fantastic talent and still only 23. If given playing time by DiCanio he could be another Benteke and a top scorer in the Prem. Just wish we could have got him!!

Too true Roger. Three great goals, one with the right, one with the left and a free-kick that Ronaldo would be proud of. Will be watching his progress with interest this season as he steps up in class.

Watched both the Sunderland game and the Swansea game where Wilfried Bony (the bloke who outscored Jozy in the Eredivisie last season) came on in the second half. All the Sunderland supporters agreed that Jozy (who played the full 90 minutes) had a good game and showed a lot of promise but was perhaps just a little short on the proverbial 'service'. Showed a couple of great turns but couldn't get any power into his shots and came close with a shot that went just wide. Bony, by comparison, only got the second half in but showed a lot of class and got his name on the scoreboard against some better class defenders. Jozy didn't appear to have anyone to work with (imo) and some of the fans were mentioning this too. I am sure Di Canio will be working on this. I think they have a game midweek so will have another look.
