Really hope that's true. Maybe Harrys spurs connections can get this done.

We desperately need some additional flair on the flanks so hopefully this is will go through. Would like to see him play down the left, at least part of the time.

Although I'd love to see him sign and perform well for us, I hope it's not at the expense of Hoillet going to Stoke.

Junior looks the best he has for us since signing and is on a real roll. He and Townsend back in the same team could do some serious damage.

Although Hoillet has layed well so far, maybe the championship is his level, give me Townsend over him anyday.

Yes please. He could do for us what Routledge did in the Championship winning season. I would still be surprised if some Premiership club doesn't take a chance on him.

Caught Offside has an excellent business model: make up anything to get a listing on sites like News Now, generate hits, sell advertising. A story on there is based on nothing.

Townsend good signing but better than hoilett on form i don't know about that. Hoilett needs to kep growing with us he could become a QPR cult hero IMO.

Townsend very direct and has a good cut inside should be fantastic but last year in the premier he got sussed a bit

Parker in ... Barton to West Ham.
    Townsend in ...SWP to Hartlepool.

That's what should happen .... but who knows.

Townsend and Hoilett on the wings Parker and Ale in the middle - I'd be pretty happy.

Not a great lover of McLaren but he seems to have worked wonders with Hoilett, so would like him to stay and we add to.

Hmmm, sounds good! Would be very strange for him to re-tweet this if it wasn't a done deal. Personally, I'd be delighted to see him back at Loftus Road. <ok>

This "♦GARO♦" character sent the above tweet to Andros, saying how he was giving up on him until he read the linked mirror article. Townsend "retweeted" this message- which implies he agrees with the content of it

Edit: This is his latest offering

    "andros townsend ‏@andros_townsend 12m
Sorry guys didn't mean that last retweet! Don't want to fuel tabloid speculation!"

Presumably out of respect to spurs fans?
