Would have thought it's almost certain Bale will be going, given Spurs have spent half of the money they would have got for him already. If he does stay, then they've found some spare cash laying around somewhere.

If willian is on 2.5mil thats AFTER any tax. so think on... anyone getting him will pay him 100k per week in england at least to get close.

Potential quartet: Willian, Coutinho, Sturridge, Suarez. Barrett made some interesting comments last night how LFC are able to agree terms with the player directly before they make a formal bid to the club. This is because Anzhi have transfer listed their entire team. He also goes onto say that Willian would 'jump at the chance to play for LFC'. Siqueira - we bid £5m which was rejected as Granada want £12m.

He did resist, one of the journo's was trying to ask about Suarez right after BR said he isn't going to talk about him and BR dismissed the question.

He forgot to add "in this transfer window" As days pass I am more and more convinced that this is it. I think he thinks he can talk Suarez round and if so then he is happy with squad. Trouble is its not quite a top 4 squad we are still missing a couple of players that can make a difference. It would also mean we have spent zero ..in fact I think we are about £4 million in credit. Not the sort of ambition of a club trying to get back into Europe.
