1) Agreed that anybody thinking that childish remarks have any effect is immature .. I don't - but I'm not sure that it therefore makes me 'mature' by default either 2) I've have over 20 years experience working within the 'Big Four' accounting firm environment - many corporate acquisitions and disposals by multi-national businesses ... I suspect my knowledge of 'business' and, for that matter my common sense, is fit for purpose in this discussion... 3) I'll be watching my team irrespective of their style of play ... as I've been doing since my first game at Filbert Street in the 1969/70 season ... it's what being a football supporter is really about .. admittedly I have my preferences on style but that is secondary ... whilst I have no particular gripe with Watford, with all due respect, you won't be right at the top of the fixtures I'll be particularly looking forward to this season ...
After last years dismal performances against Watford I can fully understand why you may not be looking forward to a repeat. In my experience bank managers & most accountants make lousy businessmen as they are good at counting beans but lack the conviction of putting their livelihood at stake. Maybe you should have been advising your football club during the frequent periods of financial cock ups!
Will you be a train driver tomorrow or maybe an airline pilot or an astronaut? Or are you keeping the charade of a businessman? It's an Internet forum - nobody gives a flying **** what you claim to be! You're just boring the arse off everybody so do us all a favour and **** off
But they weren't paid as a result of your good management. They were paid on the back of some one else's generosity. Your club still ****ed a lot of small businesses.
Whereas Leeds probably was a fixture you looked forward to. Shame it didn't turn out quite as exciting as we'd all hoped!
You started a thread on OUR board about how YOUR club is thumming it's nose at the normal usage of the loan system etc ... then you get all hissy when you get the responses that you were actually seeking ... small business, small minded, small ... ... the only thing that you might actually be qualified to comment on is your oft quoted 'HOOFBALL' ... as your club's only period of sustained presence in the top flight was under Graham Taylor! but I suppose you weren't a fan in those day? tissue?
Fan since 1967. Supported in all 4 divisions. Watford supporters are hoofball experts. Watford's 'direct style' under GT enabled them to finish second in the top tier plus qualified for European football. If your team play that way at least be successful. Normally it is the sides with limited resources that are forced to compete this way, hilarious that so called 'big clubs' like LCFC & LUFC are having to adopt these tactics because they do not have sufficient 'footballers' in their side. I've sure once Leicester FC balance the books to comply with FFP they will be able to attract the required 'playmakers'. Until then be careful you don't crook your necks watching those high punts.
Lol! You've been playing this exciting, attractive football for one season and suddenly you're the masters of it? Barcelona better watch out! You're getting boring now, not quite as repetitive as a few other WUMs who visit this board, but you're starting to give it a good crack. Warning us about crooking our necks, you want to be careful of yours mate. Hope you don't injure it looking down at the rest of the world while you're all the way up there on your high horse
You are priceless ... never seen anybody completely contradict themselves so much in one post (or indeed a series of posts) ... come on fess up, you don't even like football, your kicks come from posting on other team's football boards and the subsequent reaction - which is why you never (or rarely) post on the Watford board? ... our necks will be fine - our stands go up quite high at the KP ... it's your wrists that should concern you - must be absolutely knackered by now ... repetition appears to be your speciality
ZAHA.... FOUL... PENALTY.....PHILLLLLLLLLLLLLIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSS (You're still in the same league as us) Bye!
I think I mentioned this before but we had a great day out at Wembley, the club gained loads of money and more importantly the owners realised that we needed to sign most of the loan players and then sign even better players to bolster the next campaign. This has obviously happened. All within FFP. Great players, stable finances and exciting football. A major result you could say.
