What the hell? They better be compensating us with no meagre amount of dollar to tarnish our shirt like that. http://www.tottenhamhotspur.com/news/club-announces-aia-as-cup-shirt-partner-150813/ Those shirts look ****ing terrible. Did they not get the "no red" memo? please log in to view this image
There have been and still are worse shirts out there. We are splashing the cash and need to pay for it. They could put David Cameron's head on the front of our shirt for all I care.
Looks ok on the white, bloody awful on the away shirt. Money is money WY and we are a brand on the up.
urgh, its like the "Mansion" days. why can't we just put their logo on, but in Blue? what difference is it going to make to brand awareness? it's 3 ****ing letters. I don't have a clue who they are now, and I still won't at the end of the season.
Totally agree, personally think it would have looked better with the Group Logo, as AIA just looks like something drawn on with a marker pen. I was already skeptical about the style of the kit this year, this has not helped.
AIA's press release, for those whose bordom level is greater than mine. http://www.aia.com/en/resources/e30f828040bae54fb7a9ff2db6934ea6/AIA_press_release_15082013_en.pdf (warning PDF)
Nothing about the finances in there. To be fair to Levy this separate league and cup sponsorhip scheme is a good idea, must be a bit of a money spinner.
They are a massive company; a massive company with a lot of money. I liked the "[Spurs] has a following of over 180 million people globally and 80 million in Asia" bit and hopefully that'll rise this year. If each one of those supporters bought a £1 Spurs keyring, that's a lot of player wages.
Coupled with that recent poll suggesting 50% of yanks that voted, would be supporting Spurs this year! I'm not to bothered by the Red on the shirt, if it means Soldado in the shirt. Still, I think they could've made the Logo a bit bigger....couldn't quite make out what said at first...
I can't get over how bad that away kit Looks! haha, imagine if the 3rd kit is the rumoured navy blue with lime green. That's gonna look lovely with a big red sponsor on the front!
The away kit is so bad it makes me a little woozy. It should help us, though, making the other team look at that all game. The home's okay, I guess, even though it does look like it was scrawled in magic marker. I get the feeling there are two options A. Complementing our color scheme B. Clashing with our color scheme so your logo will stand out more and that option B costs X million more....
An Asian insurance company, worth billions according to ITK's. Bought ING's Asian opp's for over 1.2 billion dollars so I hear. I've never heard of them either. However, as long as they are paying well we will wear the dodgy looking kit. I won't be buying it though and I doubt if many others will. Red is lucky in Asia isn't it?
