Or alternatively he should have made Ehab or Nick Thompson the mouthpiece for this, and remained in the background.

    How will it not?

Realistically, how many of us on here can pretend to know more about the business world than Assem?

So you're predicting it won't, he's predicting it will.

    So who should we trust?

Is that a stain on his tie? Oh Assem you mucky bugger.

Wouldn't catch Sir Alan doing that.

Agreed. There’s no place at HT anymore for those malevolent old ****s who keep harping on about history and **** just 'cos they've been part of the club for decades.

He said he knows nothing about football, He didn't even understand the significance of the AFC element. How is that going to attract revenue...unless it's not about revenue abroad....

So what is your alternative plan to raise an additional £11M?

Carry on as Hull City AFC. aka The Tigers. If a sponsor's interested in the Tiger brand, we've still got one.

Tizer is shorter than Coca Cola, so is IRN BRU. So is Pepsi.

Coca Cola did not achieve their dominance through the name but by a whole host of measures, most noticeably in this country by giving small outlets lovely cool display cabinets on the proviso that rivals drinks are not sold.

Nowt to do with marketing or snappy titles- all to do with bullying and shelfspace, economic muscle and hostile targeting of rivals.

No...your argument against the re-brand, is that is will NOT generate additional income. So if you're right, where is the additional £11M coming from?

"It's alright getting promoted at a cost of £66M to me, haven't got more money to spend."

    No worries then?

You have missed out a major part of this quote.
That was the requirement to expand the capacity, 2nd tier on the East Stand for starters.

    Who will pay for this?
If you had a rented property would you put an extension on it, etc

They have invested quite extensively on a rented property, quoted at 3m, that they won't get back from the landlords.

It doesn't need to generate additional income over that already predicted. The rebrand at this stage will cost money, not generate it. Income from a rebrand would be future income. If the shortfall wasn't budgeted for, now's the wrong time totally for a rebrand.

LIKE I SAID........... he has to be scrupulous and run everything business like!
    none of this emotive ****!
he doesnt have to know anything about the football side!
that is why he employed SB.
as long as he has control of the purse strings I feel that we can be a success.
