New to this site, thought time to say hello. I,ve been on Planet Swans for years, but become a little disenchanted with the new site and quality of posts. What can I expect over here ??? Hope my stay here is long and meaning full
Wassup Expect some very different views, visiting wums, our nearby neighbours,rissoles, occasional bickering and some good old banter. Personally, I find it a lot better than PS and the fross team forum works well (usually!) Hope you enjoy 1 question, is Cresci's or Joe's ice cream better?
There seems to be a lot of people migrating from PS to here. The site has gone diabolical. Anyway, from the short time i've been here it seems very well designed and a good 'new home'
The level of "debate" on Planet Swans is somewhere below baby-talk, so you'll find it a bit more bracing on here. Planet Swans probably has 20 times as many contributors talking 10 times as much ****e - so it's a lot quieter on here. Quieter, but more informed, literate and sensible. Try not to get too involved, though, because there have been some infamous, long and emotionally bruising encounters between various factions in the past - usually between people who should be expending their emotional capital in a more appropriate place ie. off-line and in real life. Welcome aboard.
Welcome to the forum but be prepared there are some real loony tunes on here. I'd have a look at the awards thread to get an idea. There are people on here obsessed with rissoles and getting pissed Also, there's one poster who occasionally escapes from the Coed too.
You mean you are finding the text too small? Are you using firefox? Download this addon if you are https://addons.mozilla.org/en-us/firefox/addon/nosquint/ allows you to play around with the magnification as suits you.

Welcome, it's good over here, far better than Planet swans...they hardly ever talk about rissoles or mark gower over there
No text size is fine. The line is too wide. I suppose ctlr+ increases text size compared to line width.but it means a lot more scrolling. Here's a great article on readability. http://www.pearsonified.com/2011/12/golden-ratio-typography.php
Welcome to the forum Birchgrove if you are a Rissole fan you will really enjoy on here, if you enjoy the odd game of football thats a big help also mind
