Very good signings. I've not seen much of Livermore, but from what I have watched he's a lot better than our other midfield options. Huddlestone an excellent acquisition for us too.

If we can stay relatively free of injuries, we suddenly have a very competitive team particularly if Aluko and Brady step up another gear to fulfil their potential.

Yeah, he's well respected. There was some feeling on the Spurs board that he could've gone to a higher up club but I don't think Huddlestone would be joining if he didn't feel you guys could stay up and Bruce is a big part of that. Everyone's predicting you guys to go down but I think you've got a very good chance of staying up. McGregor was a great signing as was Figueroa and now Huddlestone. It'll be interesting to see where Livermore plays as apparently our coaches were thinking of making him a centre back. Huddlestone's quality is obvious, he's a really classy player and strikes the ball better than anyone in our squad(well except Bale). I'm actually pleased he's left as I love watching him play and he simply doesn't get games to us. AVB wants a high tempo game and Huddlestone simply doesn't fit in with that as he's slow although his fitness has improved after the last year. It might irk that some people think he should've gone to a better side but take it as a compliment, you've made an excellent signing. Not so sure about Livermore, he was really good in 'Arry's last season but looked crap last season. If anyone's going to get the best out of him though it's going to be a manager like Bruce. As you can probably tell, I rate Bruce and would definitely love to see you boys do well now you've got Hudd and Livermore. Good luck stuffing the blue scum on Sunday
Two classy players. Really impressed with our signings. Although I'm really happy with our bussines I wouldn't mind a wide player coming in. We don't have a lot after Brady and Elmo.
Don't forget Aluko can operate as a winger and with Graham, Sagbo and Proschwitz, that situation is a possibility
Not a chance....the next extraneous issue to clutter every thread will be the state of the effing training pitch...it's just the way most are on here. It'd be a great help if this site had a filter that allowed readers to throw in a key-word which could bi-pass any post that contained said keyword. I've already gone through three pairs of specs to find the meat in most threads.
