Makes me so angry to hear the comments on Lambert when Holty would have done so well at the Euros, but was over looked because of his age and played for a less fashionable team, yet it's happened with Lambert and there practically coming talking about him !!!!!
I always found it odd last season that Dave Watson is the last person to speak to subs before they go on. He does the same thing for England, is he's some sort of substitute whisperer?
Thought Whittaker's done ok given how exposed he is - at times he's made Zaha look silly, but he's been caught out three times because he turns the wrong way. It's so obvious he's better at right back.

But he will now get massive credit for giving Lambert a chance. And this now proves that which club you play for doesnt matter. At least that is how some of the media are spinning it.
Depressingly I think this is spot on. The ethos in the England set-up is all wrong, and the team remind me of everything wrong with modern football. I'd honestly rather England lose every game for five years if at the end of it we come out with a set-up capable of producing a side that can challenge for trophies.
