Not really, its just PR by numbers. And it's clearly working.

You need to learn to separate issues.

I think you'll find the majority respect him for saving the club. The majority are pleased with the players Steve Bruce has identified & the club have signed. The majority are also against a name change that is not necessary & do not agree with the misleading comments he & his directors have made regarding the name change. This does not make supporters ungrateful.

Don't apologise on my behalf, there really is no need. If you reaaly feel the need to apologise then you may be best starting with a grovelling, brown nose apology regarding the disrespectful way you address Dr Allam.

Where do you get 1 in 10?

How many of the 20K are aware of the petition?

The results were overwhelmingly against change, with 2,854 (77.7%) in favour of keeping Hull City AFC, 459 (12.5%) going for Hull City Tigers and 358 (9.8%) in favour of Hull Tigers.

How many of them are the ones that voted on the 2 above tho, I would suggest that it is only a small majority who are traditionalists that are kicking off IMO

No matter how small (although it isn't) a majority is, it is still a majority. It's good to see a change of view though & recognition that it is a majority.

It's a bigger proportion than voted the government in. <laugh>

We get a mention on the international game, and they managed to make reference to it being a daft decision. The pro-change are an extreme minority in the football world.

Maybe that why it is still only small majority in favor in the big scheme of things, with all the reports in the papers during the last week and the mods enlisting help from other boards 2,000 odd is small compared to 20,000

Im the person I most know against the name change and I haven't signed it. The reason is I don't think Mr Allam will even look at a petition never mind act on it.

There is only 1 thing that will stop him and his ego and that's if nobody turned up to watch.

Yet using the same logic, significantly greater than the numbers supporting it.

Not really because you cannot prove that the other 18,000 are unaware/against/for or give a toss.
I can produce 10 people where I live that don't agree about it making any difference to supporting the club.
You can spin figures anyway that you want, however at the end of the day people will be at the club supporting the team all season including them that are against the changes, exactly the way they were when NB got sacked.
