Barry, yes. I think he's really under rated for the job he does at City in allowing their superstars to grab the headlines and never worry about defending. Parker, no. He's crap and can only cut out danger 18yards out, much too late.
I think it depends who you're playing and what you want from the player. If you require a DM then I'd go for Barry but if playing lesser opposition where we'll see more of the ball then I'd go with Carrick. Wilshire and Gerrard are the first two picks with one of those two in a central three.

It actually angers me that Danny 'One goal' Welbeck consistently starts for England despite showing as much promise as Fabio Borini who is labelled a flop and ridiculed. I don't even like England so why it bugs me I don't know but it does. Sturridge is by far the better player, as is Chamberlain, Defoe, Crouch...
