    I know you know, but, Today is the 47th Anniversary of the greatest achievement by a BRITISH Football Team

    on the 30th July 1966 ENGLAND WON THE WORLD CUP - Of course you remember.

    To commemorate here is the 66' World Cup Song.

    I can't believe that Lonnie Donegan sang the 1966 world cup song, he was from Bridgeton<whistle>

    My choice is the Theme from Sparta FC by The Fall. It's sometimes difficult to decipher Mark E Smith's lyrics, but this one concerns an imaginary soccer firm if the Spartans had played football<laugh> They used it for a while on Final Score on the BBC which I found hilarious. We live on blood!

    Not Celtic but everything to do with liverpool. That song provokes evil and violent thoguhts in my head every time i hear it. Very appropriate that the massed ranks of the Kop chose to adopt a song from a musical about an armed robber as their anthem......
