They do these games on SpursOfficial, last season they'd show you part of a player so maybe they're going to pixellate this year. I think its Dembele.
I'm actually quite sad about this. I accept the time was right for Tommy to leave, but I always enjoyed watching him play. If he can keep full fitness and is played in he right role, he will be one heck of an asset for Hull. He was immensely popular in our dressing room, everyone at the training ground always says nice things about him. I feel he could have done better than Hull and I expect them to be struggling all season, in which case I have my doubts as to the suitability of this move for him. Whatever, I will certainly applaud him when he returns to the Lane and it will be a long time before I forget some of his sublime skills and that goal at Manchester City. Good luck Big Man.
You seemed to have missed out our captain, leader and best defender, Michael Dawson. Therefore I have to say 'Greavesie says NO' Completely disagree with your team and subs now. Sulks in a big way
Yep, i find it a strange one, Hull??, He'll be doing more defending than attacking I feel, so yeah, not suiting his pitch skills at all. I thought a good mid table side might want him...obviously not.
My recollection is that he was on the slide when he came here (although I may not be remembering correctly). Was a great keeper for Pool, but made a few ricketts for us. Pre Lloris, my favouriite, as others have said, was Thorsvedt, fantastic keeper. Favourite after Big Pat of course.
There wasn't really that much interest in him. Rumours of Martin Jol making a bid but nothing happened and Sunderland dithered, so Hull nipped in. I gather he was swayed by Michael Dawson selling the club and the area to him.
Hi SD, he wasn't as good with us as at Pool, but he was still phenomenal in the 82 season, Incidentally the last season we managed to get top 4 and win a trophy and a lot of that was down to Clem's tremendous keeping. We also reached the Lge Cup final and ECWC semi-final that season, it may well be 50 years before we have a better season than that, unless ENIC are finally going to start spending their own money as well as ours. Unfortunately, having had such a great season overall, he did **** up majorly against Barca, and that game still haunts me to this day. What we can all agree on is Big Pat was the best, in all our lifetimes of watching Spurs anyway. No matter how well Hugo does, I can never see him ousting Big Pat from my Spurs XI.
I wish Tom all the best if he's going, but I'm delighted if he is leaving. He's been frustrating me for years, and as long as we get Capoue in, he should be a major upgrade on Tom - Ground control to .... Press ignition and put your helmet on
sosososososososossaha or something and before that it was Super Pav! Something Naughton related will do nicely please, huddlefro!
