You're forgetting all this broken promises bs. The club and therefore the fans have a right to be annoyed about that. Also I understand the need to go to a Champions league club, but not to a rival (please no argument whether we're rivals or not, Henry thinks we are and that's all that matters with regards to Suarez being sold/staying).

You're right, it's a shame that Suarez gets up to such stupid things as he is such a great little player. I'm still optimistic that we'll buy some players but it's more to do with us getting the right players, that will make the difference. As for the Spuds, they've bought some quality in and they continue to be interested in other players, according to rumours. God knows where they are getting the money from. You'd think that this would include the sale of Bale, but even rumours of him leaving are drying up....

Yeah its a shame theyve ssuddenly found this pot of gold but selling Bale will make them loads weaker

But yes the Bale rumours are drying up a bit, but I think he will go to be honest

You will, you simply have too. Wenger isnt stupid and all this "concentrate on the squad we have" he knows surely you need at least 2/3 in

If not all hell will break loose at the Emirates but like I say im sure you will

Maybe that's how he felt at the start of the Summer and the Arsenal interest made him re-evaluate his position. I'd think him more of a **** if he were to be one of them dogmatic berks who is too yellow to have a change of heart.

G, you never commented on the other part of my post:

  10. That's true but then, that is the case for every club. Didn't Chelsea sack a youth player (or more) around the time that A.Cole got in to trouble for the air rifle incident? Clubs assess their players as assets, at the end of the day and as much as us fans don't like it, all that matters is the balance sheet.

BTW, you won't find a loyalty comment from me. Loyalty hasn't existed in the majority of football for a long time and the only time it does is when a quality player break through at an already establish big club; aka Giggs, Scholes, Carragher, Gerrard, Terry, hopefully for you guys Wilshire will be one too.

Bale seems to be happy at Spurs but the lack of Champions League football and interest from Real has somewhat turned his head. But Spurs are played some serious hardball with Real at the moment and against all the odds, he may just stay another season. But i'm sure Spurs's efforts to stengthen their squad hasn't gone unnoticed with him and he's probably thinking, why not stay another season. If they don't make it this season then he's definately gone.

  13. I think the lure of Real Madrid (or Barcelona) would be hard for any player to turn down, and that includes players that are being successful at their boyhood clubs too!

Very true indeed. We've been stung many a time by Barca....

  15. Likewise for us with Real Madridand Barcelona; McManaman, Owen, Alonso, Arbeloa, Mascherano...

  17. Mourinho was at Chelsea on both occasions <ok>

English players are more reluctant to up sticks to another country than foreign players. Saying that, there is Chelsea, Man U, Man City......

It's pretty clear Gerrard was interested in the move to Chelsea but for various reasons <whistle>he decided to stay. Madrid or Bayern would have been a stupid move for him I think, he's very much suited to English football
