Good spot sir. I've been looking at Huddlestone's account now and then to see when the club start following him - that's when it is 100% done.
Sky are 100% sure it's done, but as Darmesh Seth said; the club are "close to announcing" a deal for Jake Livermore too. The wording of that gave something away for me.
'close to announcing' means he has signed, doesn't it? It just means they are taking the pics with the shirts and writing a statement, surely?
I think it's safe to assume that the signing takes place before the announcing. The announcement is the bit with the shirts. Maybe he'll take the number 6 shirt?
The City OSC account is following both Tom and Jake now. That confirms it, surely? They are official accounts for the club after all.
I would absolutely love for this to be true, two great players for our level. Huddlestone isn't quite good enough for Tottenham but could still do a job at a team like Everton or even Liverpool. I would hope that Spurs pay a chunk of his wages though as I'm sure he's on 40-50k a week.
I mentioned yesterday that someone asked the club on Facebook when the kit numbers were announced and they got the reply 'In a day or so...'. That's a hidden message if I ever saw one. They were waiting for someone to come in before announcing the numbers.
One worth adding to the 'special numbers' thread? Our 'special number' looked a contender between; 4, 5, 6, 9, 10 & 11.
It was indeed Curtis Woodhouse who was with us last, just though. Price left on 25th January 2006 and Curtis left on the 28th January of the same year.
