They have to wait for club lawyers to sign etc. There's a difference between a 'done deal' with players, clubs and agents and actually formally announcing it. Hence many deals that seem done have fallen through in the past.

 

For what we have spent and got - away from the top clubs we have done just about the best business overall. Well done to all concerned especially Steve Bruce.

No problem mate. Apparently there was some issues with his wages and his injury record but he's made an agreement with a substantial appearance fee to bulk his wages up. Cannot tell you who my mate is but he's close to a player He's never got things wrong before and I'm sure he's not winding me up.

Could be an announcement by end of today but press conference tomorrow.

As for livermore I have been told done deal on season long loan with the option to buy for £3.5m at the end of loan.
