Danns still on the scene - only new face since Bakayogo is a loan deal for Arsenal's young central defender Ignacio Miguel who is a product of the Barcelona academy apparently ... might expect further loans but I doubt we'll have any more permanent signings unless we unload Konchesky (rumoured to be wanted by 'Arry and QPR) ... Miguel can also play left back so you never know ...
It's the World Cup next summer (although I'm still not sure England will qualify). Maybe Huddlestone thinks he has a better chance of getting in the squad if he's playing 30+ games this season, albeit for a non-fashionable North-East club, rather then sitting on the bench for Spurs.
