MERCHANTMAN5, How can you call Sunderland when you are from hull LOL & if you think Hull is just as big as sunderland then you should go & check into a nutty farm.

Qatartiger cambridgetiger, Of course I have & thats why my bar is red for.

TOP BANANA HULL CITY AFC, Not delusion but I do deal with stat facts.

DOUBLE DRAGON, We speak different so there is a difference.

BRI & HIS LITTLE BALLS, What a bellend.

Last comment on this board so enjoy your relegation lads.

I love pasta. I never really used to be bothered about pasta but over the last couple of years it's become easily my favourite meal. Thinking of cooking a whopping great big lasagne tonight to feast on whilst watching us stamp our superiority on those filthy jocks.

Big sized club and history without a doubt. But the PDiC effect could well end in tears sadly for them. twt as always.

Hope so. That will do nicely thanks. :emoticon-0103-cool:

BOGOF deal with Spurs. It is a very good price for the pair and if we stay PL it is money well spent. :1980_boogie_down:

Please dont take this the wrong way. But i dont see any middle ground with PDiC @ Sunderland. It will either be a boom or bust season for you. Good Luck like.

The road is clear for him. Honest.......... :emoticon-0116-evilg

With Phil Buckingham being a Sunderland fan he will be giving it all his normal negative slant. etc etc etc. Time for a Hull City fans to be our reporter Baxter. Fact.

Sunderland are staging a late move to salvage a deal for midfielder Tom Huddlestone after Hull agreed a £5.25million fee with Tottenham.
Although Sunderland opened talks last month they then postponed their interest while pursuing other players first.

They also hoped their delaying tactics might lower the asking price below £5m but they have been forced to act because of Hull’s interest.

Hull are also in talks with Spurs over a loan move for youngster Jake Livermore and are optimistic of concluding a double signing.

But Sunderland manager Paolo Di Canio has not given up hope of a deal and said: “I hope it can be done. I know they are working on it.”

Don't have a source yet. I'll edit this post as soon as I do.

I LOVE the way people say that like it's the biggest insult possible and how we would be heartbroken and weep if relegated. Out of 109 years this is about to be our third in the top flight. We've coped pretty well so far as it goes and if we go down again so ****ing what? And 3 teams have to go down every year - that's 15% of the division every single time. So yes, there's a good chance we might be part of that 15%. If we are Im sure we'll get over it.

If you'd said "enjoy having a souless identifty at the whim of a mentalist egomanical owner turning his back on 109 years of history and seeing the pathetic way your so-called fellow supporters roll over and take it with a shrug" then you might have got a reaction.

You don't represent Sunderland. You're a disgrace. You should leave these good people alone.

That wasnt the discussion. Someone on here was laughing at Sunderland claims to be bigger than us and they are.

Disagree completely, being a fan does not make someone a better jounalist. Indeed I'd argue it makes them more objective. Be careful what you wish for, we could end up with Gollum*

    * I know he's a Rervers fans foremost but City are his favourite football team.

That is your opinion and fair enough. But i know many that want Buckingham removed from the HDM as the Hull City reporter. I dont want a happy slapper either. I just want a good honest reporter and Buckingham is not that. imo and others.

    ===========

SSN now reporting that both TH and JL are discussing terms and could have medicals @ Hull City today.

It's stating the bleeding obvious to say that money appears to be the main motivating factor behind footballers choice of clubs, but we also know that there are other considerations such as location which has been mentioned on this thread as a possible factor in Huddlestones case that might go in our favour.
But SURELY, SURELY there is another question that hopefully young Tom will be asking himself - "Can I bring myself to play for a ****ing fascist"?

... given the intelligence levels of most modern day footballers he's more likely to say "what's a facsist?" ... if so, and with Tom in mind, shortly followed by "can I eat it?"...
