Hi Spurm, thanks for forgiving my outburst. It really is a mystery, and the OS is being completely unhelpful on this, unless I too am going blind.

The demise of ESPN seems to have left us with just ITV carrying the EL, which isn't good in itself. Now, it seems both us and Swans are kicking off at the same time, which means ITV 4 effectively have to choose one or t'other.

BTW, it's very hard to track down the Swans listing too, but after about ten minutes searching I did find that somewhere. If I find it again, I'll do the link. Swansea are at home, so if ITV4 have to choose, then it makes sense for them to be chosen

But we're a far bigger draw than they are, and also our tie is more 'glamorous' IMHO.

like WY said i don't think we KO the same time as it would be uber late in Georgia at 20.05 UK. So more than likely we'll be the bloomin' early one in the double header and then we'll be the civilised o'clock KO for the home leg.

It could be that due to the time difference, no one has bothered broadcasting it over here due to potentially bad viewing figures. - However, the WHL 2nd leg will def be on.

Someone mentioned about the potential of 3 english teams, including wigan. - I might be wrong, but I seem to remember Newcastle getting pretty much bugger all coverage last season through the group stages. It seemed to be us and Liverpool, usually with Liverpool occupying the earlier "6ish" kick off. We could well see one of the English teams miss out again. I'd say the likely candidate would be Wigan.

I thought they played 3 matches per thursday last year? I remember at least 1 evening where i watched Spurs and later could flick between Newcastle and Liverpool.

And surely a live spurs match would be better viewing figures than whatever other gash they show at 6pm on ITV4? Must be sub-Neighbours/Home&Away at that time

That's the logical scenario, which I've also said as well.

But all the ko's I've found have us at 8.05, and our Bible on these matters, the OS, has gone missing. The alternative Bible, the UEFA site, carries no ko times at all that I can see in the match calendar.

Considering the game is only 8 days away, 'shabby' is a charitable description.

Hi Roo, that's a possibility re the viewing figures. But last year some 'low viewers' at the early kick off slot were run. Games that had less glamour than Dinamo V Spurs IMHO. But your explanation is a definite goer as far as explanations go, I reckon.

This happened with Newcastle last year. Some of their games weren't shown on the tv listings till a few days before.

If the worst comes to the worst you can take Spurf's advice and use Wiziwig. Link

    Courtesy of Notso....

Dinamo Tblisi have it on their own website as a 9pm local time ko. There's 3 hrs time difference so its 6pm BST. As yet it is not on a TV channel, listings could change nearer the time.

    http://www.fcdinamo.ge/en/

    http://www.live-footballontv.com/

Someone will have to copy my post so the OP can read it....I'm on his 'ignore list'!

Might be worth taking Notso off ignore for the record, I've had a few run ins with him but he isn't all bad <ok>

They did at times Spurm, but then ESPN usually had one or two in a row, ditto ITV4. So you could get at times all three English clubs plus a foreign club.

But ESPN seem out of the fray now. I agree BTW about Spurs being better for viewing figures than the normal stuff they show then. Though I assume Spurs would be more expensive than rehashing Neighbours Episode 56,014 for the umpteenth time, or whatever is normally on then.

PS Please update us on the BT listings when they hit the 22nd, as I can't find them anywhere, and they're my main hope now.

Hi TJ, and thanks to you and Notso for the info, very much appreciated. AT last we're getting nearer the truth, no thanks to the OS BTW. 'Other club's website more up to date than ours shocker!'

Unfortunately, Notso and I just don't get on, so it's best we don't argue. I'm quite happy to say it's my fault rather than his, as I do suffer from temper tantrums, but that's the way it is.

I'm really confused by BT sport at the mo. I have BT vision and i have BT broadband, which makes me qualify for BT Sport. On my listings i have:
    BT Sport
    BT Sport 1
    BT Sport 2

Both 1 and 2 tell me to insert my viewing card (the box doesn't even have a viewing card slot). I can see plain BT Sport but i haven't watched it yet.
There is meant to be an app/webviewer too, i'm gonna research that

Oh, and yeah, will update tomorrow when the listings push forward. They haven't advertised EL though (and they do a LOT of advertising), so i think its just 38 live prem games and rugby as their centre pieces.

Edit - Hang on! BT sport website gubbins mentions ESPN. So ESPN still exists! More confused now

BT Bought out all ESPN's games and air them on BT Sport as far as I know.

To get BT Sport as a Broadband customer you need to login to your account online and sign up.

IF you have normal broadband you have to buy a £10 viewing card to watch it on your TV but as of then its all free. If you are lucky enough to have BT Infinity it is entirely free. You can watch BT Sport on the "BT Sport App" on your computer for free with either broadband (infinity or normal).

    http://www.bt.com/sport/

Follow the links above to register for BT Sport.

For some reason I cant seem to get it. I have BT Broadband but not infinity. When I go to buy the viewing card it tells me I'm not eligible so have given up and just plug my laptop into the tele and use the App.

Yep, good luck with all that Spurm. I've tried to crack the BT Sport/ESPN mystery to no avail.

I'm extremely annoyed as a Virgin customer I can't get BT Sport, even if I'm prepared to pay a ridiculous fee for it, which Spurs addict that I am, I would.

I know streams are always available, and if I can't get to a TV, then a streaming I will go. But I do prefer watching the TV.

I'm already gearing up for the 'stream scramble' for the Swansea game Sunday week, looks like I'll be streaming away for the Dinamo game too now. TBH, I have been spoiled by so much TV coverage.

I rmember in 1972 we played AC MILAN in a UEFA SEMI-FINAL, was it on live, was it ****. Were there even highlights on the night, were there ****. All we got was a quick clip of Mullers wonder goal on Saint & Greavesie, and a general view from BBC and ITV 'well done Spurs, you've just pulled off an historic victory but frankly we don't care, what's wrong with watching show jumping and detective series?'

I'm with BT for my broadband, so all I had to do was upgrade to their new Infinity package and you get BT Sport free for a year...sorted! :D

TJ - just phone them and take the Infinty package, its brill, no wires, no boxes. I had a little whinge for being a loyal customer and I've got Infinity for the same price as the previous deal, oh, + £3 for HD. <ok>

They've changed it slightly and i haven't checked. When it first got announced it told me i had to do absolutely nothing to get it (i am infinity), so i didn't. Since then its changed somewhat and i've just gone through the process of ordering BT Sport (for nothing). I dunno whether they send a card, as far as i know there is no slot, but i will check later. They're sending me a shiny (maybe) ethernet cable for free though as they say i can't use the homeplugs for the net access. So maybe it will come down the infinity and not over the air and i won't need a card? Who knows.

My app and online access should get enabled within either 15mins or 24hours apparently. Lucky i didn't leave it too late, i was just gonna tune in this weekend and would have been sorely disappointed.

BT Infinity is not available where I live. Which is a farce as I live smack bang in the centre of York (literally next to the high street).

Have just got on phone to them and got a viewing card for £10 coming friday :)
