The Swansea game is on ITV4 apparently.

But I can't see our game anywhere. Has anyone picked up info on where the game's being shown on UK TV, if it is.

    Cheers

I'll be surprised if we're not on ITV4 too. There's usually 2 games, one of which kicking off at around 6pm, the other at around 8pm.

can't see anything on radiotimes for thursday the 22nd. Maybe they haven't updated the listing yet. Surely at least one of the games is on?

It will be an early kick off, Georgia must be a few hours ahead of us

    Edit: yep, 3 hours ahead

says 20.05 on the bbc fixture page. Surely they don't use local time?

They frequently do for games in Russia etc. If it kicked off at 8.05 our time it wouldn't finish til 1am there - got to think of the fans, policing etc.

Well I'll be surprised too Roo, but it doesn't seem to be the case so far.

That doesn't seem to be the case, everywhere I've found a kick off time, it's on at 8.05. The OS in its wisdom, doesn't seem to acknowledge the fixture exists last time I looked at the match schedule thing they have, so a mere bagatelle like the kick off time, seems to be as nothing to them ;)

It does seem strange to me it would kick of 8.05 our time. The logical thing would surely be it kicks off at 6.05 BST, and we get to see it on TV.

But as I say I can't find it anywhere.

Not if you work where i work :(
I'd probably get to see the 2nd half, or i'd have to record it.
    7.05pm would be perfect.

Well thanks for all the replies, so no-one else can find any definitive info either. Very odd, it will be most upsetting if it's not on TV as I've grown accustomed to watching all our European games on the box.

Why they can't kick off before the Swansea game, so we can watch both is a mystery to me.

It's also strange that with ESPN out of the picture (boom, boom) no-one else seems to be carrying EL games, leaving just ITV to do the biz. When Wigan join the party, if all 3 clubs are playing in the group stages, it would seem again at least one club will miss out.

:smiley; I appreciate your concerns Spurm. But in reality, TV programming would overrule them and they'd carry both games IF there was to be an early kick off. But it seems not to be the case, so far.

I await some info from the OS, meanwhile in other news Winston Churchill has lost the General Election in a shock defeat at the hands of the Labour party ....

I'm not sure if that's sarcasm coming my way there, Spurm. But I've checked out BT as best as I can, being a non-subscriber, and can't find it on there either.

If you are being sarcastic, please tell me, so I can stick you on ignore. As I'm not happy regards the non-televising or lack of info on this matter <ok>

    Huh?
I was just pondering whether it was on BT Sport, then i went away, found the listings, realised they only went up to the 21st and updated my post.

I can't for the life of me see what i could possibly have been being sarcastic about. I have bt sport and i had to google where the listings were (not being at home to check the actual box)

My apologies Spurm, years on being on forums have made me ultra tetchy when it comes to stuff like this.

I've asked genuine questions like this before, and have got no help, plus sarcastic replies like, have you tried checking the listings etc.

But to repeat, my apologies. The mystery continues.

No worries! If i'm being sarcastic/horrible you'll should know for sure. I usually get a ticking off from YV for going too far. I don't go for the subtleties :)

I'm sure it must be on _some_ channel. Its just finding it. I can only guess that the channels put out a default listing before the matches are drawn that contains no football and then re-jig afterwards which they haven't done yet.
Surely it would be better to put out a listing that just say "Europa League football" though and fill in the match later.
I can't even find Swansea, am i blind?
