Only a rumour but being reported in a few rags. It seems Wenger may change targets after it becoming unlikely that Suarez will move. Also heard he's been removed from the Swans picture profiles on the website but I haven't checked that? Do you think a bid will come in for him and if so how much would it take for an offer to be accepted?
According to the mirror newspaper. If they fail to land Suarez they will target michu or dzeko apparently. I wonder if arsenal realize he is a centre midfielder and not a striker ! If they had a problem meeting the fee for Ashley Williams how will they react when we ask for £ 30m ? Personally I think michu is happy enough to stay here at least another season and I don't think he. Will be overjoyed to play in his least favorite position at another club, he is big pals with carzloa though which may be a pull but I get the feeling michu ain't going anywhere in this transfer window. Laudrup has also mentioned the fact that the closer it gets to the transfer window closing the less chance there will be of our players going as finding a replacement in such a short time would be a problem. Michu will of course leave if he continues his progress with us but I think he will want to remain loyal to laudrup and to the club in it's quest for prem safety and euro glory, I also think michu ain't so much of a money motivated person, not wanting To leave the Spanish second division for oviedos rivals in the top division with a bigger wage being offered does demonstrate a sense of loyalty not many others have,famous last words I know and anything can happen in football, but if arsenal thought Liverpool hard to deal with I'd dred to think how they will cope with huw and laudrup! Thoughts ?
If I were Swansea, I'd tell Arsenal that you're not prepared to sell to a rival Seriously though, I reckon I'd take the £25m if I were you guys. Michu had a quality 70% of a season last year but can he do it again, preferably for a whole season though? He is about 27 isn't he? I'd sell him and invest in in a couple of quality players

....and the rest! Seeing as they were prepared to pay £40 million for Suarez to add 20+ goals and as there are only 2 & 1/2 weeks until the window shuts.... they can pay £40 million for Michu or **** off If I was Huw and I could get £40 million with a week or so to go I'd probably take it. We could replace Michu, buy a top drawer back up centre-forward and buy a top class winger for that money (in the last week of the transfer window).....I'd line those deals up now and then when Arsenal come knocking give them the figure we need to make this happen - non negotiable. Wouldn't begrudge Michu the move. He has been a gentleman and a professional in the year he's been here. At his age, if he's going to have a crack at a Champions League club, he needs to move now or next summer.....contrast to that brat, troublemaker, Suarez....why should we accept less?

you can't possibly say that trunds. It will all come down to what is on offer and if its to good to turn down and both michu and ash likes the deal then loyalty goes out the window......i said last week that this is the time that the big clubs finalize their transfer business as time is running out and its no surprise at all that teams will come in for our players....Arsenal have been interested from the start and now liverpool wont sell them suarez they will look elsewhere. We will have to hope that the offer is not something jinx and the players cant turn down, thats all we can do, hope for the best....
