Last time I came to Sunderland was for a drydocking of the boat I was on. The barmaids where thickos and got the orders wrong, the pub landlords where irresponsible ****ers and the drydock well the less said about that heap of ****e the better

Come on, Sunderland are a much bigger club than we are. They always have been.

I don't really give two ****s who's the bigger club. If you come on here acting all billy big bollocks then expect to get roasted. Wolverhampton Wanderers were technically a bigger club than us and look where that got them.

Sunderland, despite having spent a lot of time in the top flight, only managed to finish 17th last season. This means that their targets for this season are pretty much the same as ours. They already have a bucket load of midfielders, they don't need Huddlestone. And £ for £ they might be richer, but we can still compete with them on wages and if they offer silly money, than that's their issue to deal with further down the line.

And I've called Mackems Geordies before and they don't half kick off. Mind you, it's not half as bad as saying the word Humberside in the Silver Cod.

Huddlestone would be a good signing for you .. not to say a bit of a coup ... Plymouth or Exeter were favorites to get him due to their closer geographical proximity to the Ginsters' bakery ...

Theyve won major trophies. Have spent much more time in the top division. Have traditionally bigger average crowds. Pretty much every criteria you could consider really.

I cant actually think of a way in which we could ever be considered bigger.

Problem with their new HU postcode rule will just make house prices in the likes of Swanland soar.

Yes, apparently between £5.25 and £5.5m. Not sure if that's just for Huddlestone or whether it includes a fee for Livermore. Either way, it's a bargain.

I remember at the start of the window, I said if we were going to shell out on any one player, that would be the last deal we'd make and we'd get our cheaper options in first. Looks like I was correct.

Just hope we can get this double deal sorted quickly, the longer it drags on the more unlikely it will be of coming off.

Pity it has become public knowledge, brings the WUMs onto the board. <steam>

Morning fellas, Just ignore our resident dickhead. He's on a new type of roid so his levels are all over the place. As you can tell from his red bars he's not a popular person on my board. However, don't appreciate being tarred with the same brush by a select couple of you. You should know better than that. <ok>

I think you've outbid us and have got the lad. I think Paolo really wanted him but 5m+ is too rich for us as his injury record could be a problem and we could never get him up to the fitness levels of the rest of our team. I'm not going to get into a argument over who he would choose as it seems to be irrelevant as we haven't matched your bid. I wanted the lad so gutted we're missing out even if I was a bit dubious about his injury record. but the lads talent is there for all to see. Hope you can keep him fit lads and all the best. :)
