Mackem in peace. Not sure whether we're in for Hudd any more. I do know Paolo likes him but we seem to be angling for players on loan at the moment making me think we're nearly spent up for the window. Think he'd be a very good signing for you lot if you can keep him fit. His passing is immense and he has a sledgehammer of a shot on him. If he was a bit more physical (bizarre that he isn't considering his size) and mobile I'd be kicking myself if you got him over us. As it is I still think he'd be a good addition to our squad but would begrudge you guys for signing him. All the best for the season ahead.
Thanks. Nice to see another sensible Mackem again. I'm surprised Di Canio never went in for him earlier if he wanted him so badly. That's why I think we will get him and Livermore. (bar another Charlie Austin situation) We are looking into getting Livermore as part of the £5.25m deal (on a loan though), and I think he will be vital to the team also.

We're not all knobheads mate! I think we went in for him as part of a deal for Danny Rose but it looks like we're not getting Danny back so our interest cooled in Hudd as well. Paolo's been vocal in saying he still wants a creative midfielder but I don't see it being Hudd. If we are in fact in for him I still think he'll go to you lot as you lot are showing you want him more! It'll be a very good double deal. Livermore looked good last year. Together they'll add a bit of experience, energy and technique in the midfield. How's Meyler doing for you lot? I really hope he has a good year. He was really unlucky with injuries at us.
Meyler has been one of our best players since he came, though he does seem to go down easily... He certainly improved our midfield last season. He linked up very well with Elmo on the right side of our midfield/attack, and scored a few chances as well. One of a few players who, if we hadn't brought in, would likely mean we would still be in the Championship.
