One of these two players would really make our team more than decent. I think if we figure out the right formation(s) then we could be a bit of a surprise package.

Well I don't think he'll have that much work to do. Everything I read about the 3 promoted teams is that Cardiff have spent a ton, we've spent astutely and Palace haven't spent ****. I think most journos are realising that even though we'll probably struggle, Brucey is actually building a decent squad. Mcgregor, Figueroa, Graham are all respected in English football and those look like solid signings to ANYONE with any football knowledge. I think on paper We look the most "promising". No one can predict the future though. Otherwise he can always say we're closer to London than Sunderland
As a sunderland fan I hope you get him because I don't rate him at all. plus if we did want him we would get him & it's as simple as that.
Last point may be relevant, but I think TH would relish a) a lead role on a team, b) guaranteed regular matches (when not injured) and c) most importantly a personal challenge that would be supported by an astute man-manager (Bruce). He's had some tough times with injuries, and despite his talent, at a place like Spurs it was tough to get back into the flow. Bruce could guarantee him that, and his team mates would support that as they would be less prone to resent it.
