My brother in law is a Spurs fan, and just in the last 10 days had a bouncing baby boy. As any diligent uncle would do, bought him a Hull City baby grow and stuff - stolen a future Spurs fan He's marked for a future member of the Black and Amber Army
Considering the world class midfielders that have been at Spurs over the past few years, I'm not surprised he doesn't remember Marney.
If this comes to pass, it'll be the best double signing since Houghton & Butler from Rotherham in the middish 60's - two excellent playmakers they were. Chilton & Wagstaff benefitted enormously from their craft. Aluko & Graham/Sagbo should do the same. Let it happen....
Incorrect. "He"/PB placed 17 in the Premiership. Not that I disagree with your statement, but lets wait til this season is over first.
Correct me if I'm wrong, but the mail have been by far the most accurate media outlet wherever city's concerned for years, they obviously have a solid source somewhere high up in the club who's been here a long time. They've broken quite a few things first and to my memory, have been bang on the money every single time.
Last year, they were the only ones to say we weren't after Emile Heskey and that we were after Big Nick... and look who was right. Get the feeling they could be right again.
How come they're allowed to print the line 'Jake Livermore has joined Hull.'? Shouldn't there be something to stop papers just making news up?
Its to specific to be a lie. Everyone knows that when you make **** up you dont get into specifics, to easy to get caught that way. You should have learned that the first gf you had, so you didnt get caught hitting on all the other girls.
This is almost guaranteed to be true. The big question is will we pull it off, will tom wanna join? I don't personally think Sunlan have a lot over us . Most likely bigger wages and a charismatic manager but I think a player would rather play for Brucey. He has a very positive image in English football, so glad we have him.
I don't know how accurate Sky betting is but we're 1/6 and Sunderland are 8/1 to sign him along with two other clubs on 8/1
Here's the Mail article which was updated at 10pm http://www.dailymail.co.uk/sport/fo...om-Huddlestone-Paolo-Di-Canio-interested.html
Still some hurdles to jump over in terms of this deal: 1. Medical - If Austin can't pass, will Huddlestone be able to with his history of Knee injuries? 2. Wages - How much is he on and will he fit into our wage structure? Wiki says he's on £20k a week (affordable) but depends if that is accurate 3. Moving to Hull - With all new signing having to live locally will he want to live here? From Nottingham so this might not be a problem
