Did she actually say that? If its been on another thread that got lost in all the mess then this is why, but I would have thought it would have made HDM news! Or is it someone taking the piss.
Yep, she really did say that on twitter. She unsurprisingly locked her account when people started to question her back...
Someones daughter reacted angrily to abuse her dad was getting from ****wits online over something misrepresented by the HDM. Some morons take offense at her doing this. That's all you need to know about that OLM. In actual news, we still have a fab manager, we still have decent owners, the HDM is still ****, we're about to announce some awesome signings and next Sunday is looking good for a fab start to a fab era. Plus, you're now immune to mossies. Be honest, you look like Mel now off Benidorm dontcha?
Amber Nectar described it as 'one of his daughters' implying there is more than one. The only one I know of is https://twitter.com/Estie_dt but I don't think it was her unless she deleted it. Or am I missing it?
dont anyone find it creepy following GF / Sisters of players manager groundsmen and backroom staff ?? I do its all a bit eeeeeewww
I haven't seen the word fab used as much since the heady days of early Beatlemania. And if doesn't alter the fact this is a poor idea.
Short of a 'Wimbledon to Milton Keynes' type situation, I can't think of anything an owner could do worse to a club than change the name. I'd like to think it's all a ploy on Allam Senior's part to raise national and global awareness of our club*, with the aim of attracting investment. The rational part of my brain, though, is saying it really is as simple as one selfish, pigheaded old ****'s dislike of our historic name. I'd be extremely pissed off if he said he wanted to drop the 'AFC' and become just 'Hull City', but to change the name to Hull Tigers?! Hopefully someone puts a bullet in his head before he can go through with it. *With no real intention of altering our name, I mean
And you are now sounding as dishonest as Nick Thompson - our football team is now being referred to as Hull City Tigers. If you are okay with that then fine, it doesn't make you a degenerate arse-scratcher or a moron; it will only be your continued efforts to convince us all that will inevitably prove that is exactly why you are.
I know what's coming if we do get Huddlestone and Livermore then it will because of the name change as they wanted to join a forward thinking club.
Would be intersting to hear Nick Thomson on why the commercial arm is being used in a football side context.
Mike White ‏@mikewhitesport 1m Hull City owner Assem Allam says fans "don't pay the bills" when asked by @peter_levy about proposed name change. Interesting.
