First game so even more of a lottery than usual. So spoon in mouth time.

    Preiction:

    The match we will win

The season: despite what I said to the Gooners on their board I think that we'll struggle until we find a way to play without Suarez. If we can find a new startegy then 4th is possible.

cant wait for the season to start and what an opener.

This game will dictate for me how our season will go.......Can we deal with a big side. (Rumour has it we are going to keep Dani Pacheco, just to get our average height upto 5foot6)

If this was the end of last season i would reckon on us winning 3-0.

But I fear we will have 62% POSSESSION

22 shots, (14 of which on target.)

And lose 2-0 both goals coming from set pieces.

Afterwards Rodgers will not be able to fault the players for effort and style of play.

How ive missed the Premier League!

    anyhting can happen.

for sure if i were to give a best - median - worst sensitivity analysis on my in depth study of the fixtures then:

    Best case 5th
    Median case 6th
    worst case 7th
I don't see us getting 4th unless we really do something a bit special in the next two weeks.

one prediction i will make is aston villa to improve a lot and be nowhere near the bottom again.

Very app user friendly, I like it.

As much as I appreciate the effort chris puts in, it makes it very hard to get off the first page on the phone app with all the pictures and writing on the op.

Have to agree with all that...they will end up scoring one or two in the last ten minutes as we get caught out defensively after yet another push forward and missed chance. Yay! :emoticon-0127-lipss

Liverpool are currently playing Newcastle at Melwood.

    Winning 3-0 - Sturridge x 2, Alberto.

No probs - won 3-1 in the end.

Lads showed good fitness, passed well. McLaughlin had a very good game apparently.

What sort of team played? Good to see Sturridge get some goals given he's missed most of pre-season. Should be near enough ready for Saturday.
