Kane was very good at Millwall, though and he always looks a step above in the reserves. Injured at Norwich and then poorly utilised at Leicester when the manager had lost it, in my opinion. A loan to Charlton for him and Obika might be an idea, as they're skint and need to make up a bit of cash. Flog a forward or two.
Agreed, I think Kane is unlikely to make it with us or in the Prem in general (with the top 10 ten clubs anyway) I've no idea who this Troy guy is, but if it looks like 'rumour of substance' I'll check him out.
Ok, but most on here didn't want Hooper. Hooper is the same age, the same price, is more prolific and looked good in the CL against teams like Juventus. Deeney has played for Walsall, Watford and Halesowen and has also recently been in jail. If Deeney was 20-21yrs old (or less) then i could see the appeal, but at 25 he is unlikely to get considerably better. If people don't like Kane then how about we give Coulthirst a shot should we need to, rather than spending £5m on this chap?
Seen Kane a few times in the Championship against Cardiff - he has never impressed although his goals per game rate at Millwall wasn't bad. However he is still only 20 so has time to develop. He can't spend his time going on loan everywhere so if he can't progress then Spurs need to move him on especially if Deeney is to be signed. Deeney looked useful last season with Watford in partnership with Veydra (going to West Brom on a 12 month loan?) - a little and large thing. Puts himself about and gets stuck in. Not sure if that works as well in the Prem.

seems sky have a bit of a misconception of how radars work: "Christian Atsu: Back under Tottenham's radar" Erm, if he's "under the radar" then we wouldn't see him. If he is "on the radar" then we can. Silly, silly sky. Also, sounds like Katsu curry, which is the most important part of a potential signing
I did actually want Hooper. Defoe is not a poacher like he is, and I think Hooper, Defoe and Ade would have been a good selection last year. Halilovic, Errickson (SP?) (After his comments), Capuoe, A CB and Coentraoe and I will be satisfied....
Halilovic looks like he could become a really good player. The coaches say he is better than modric at this age but of course they're going to say that so I shall wait and see! Probably 2-3 years off making a real impact for us, but given that we didn't get hazard, mata, Oscar and a whole host of other players when they would have been great for us, this is probably the way we're going to have to look at the transfer market. At least til we become more regular contenders in the champions league. As for all the other rumours, I can't believe they have much substance. Atsu sounds like his agent trying to drum up some interest and I can not see the point in going for deeney! Especially after having served a prison sentence. Eriksen... Yes please, but we'd need to get rid of several players to make this work and we're probably writing off one of holtby or sig getting regular pitch time which is a shame. Alderweireld is a good buy, but no better than good. He'd be a 4th choice which is fine but i'd prefer going for a player like sakho, vlad or the guy from shalke (popodopolous?) and have them push for the first xi from the off! Most likely wont cost much more as well! Sakho is in the last year of his contract, vlad we knower price of (but that might be out of our hands) and admittedly the shalke player is probably more pricey.

Haha, yeh. It's Levy's fault for getting my hopes up - I can see we are only a few players away from being awesome! Fare well to Scotty. I posted it thinking I was only confirming what was already public knowledge. I have since realised it hasn't yet been made official so looke like I'll be getting my P45 from Levy tomorrow . Not sure on the fee, but I gather it includes extra if QPR get promoted this season.
I won't mention any names but some other Spurs fans still think that he's signing for a different club...
