£10m is too much and I'm sure that it'll be lower than that if the deal does go through, but I think that Parker would offer a very useful option in the middle of the park.
The Europa League has something like 19 games in it if you go all the way, so that could end up being a substantial drain on the squad, plus I'd hope for some progress in the domestic cups this season.
If Palacios, O'Hara and Jenas leave, then we'd need someone to come in and do a good job, but not command a place in the first XI instantly, as I wouldn't like to see Modric or Sandro displaced.
Who else would be more appropriate for that price?
