My son is getting taught religion at school just now, he asked me the difference between Protestants and Catholics. I replied that Protestants believe that the Bible is God's true words and that no man on Earth can replicate God on Earth, Catholics on the other hand, like to bum kids.

This However, I've noticed recently a trend to just generalise everyone with a faith as stupid. The way I see it, the only proven beings of higher rational understanding are those of a religious upbringing who later renounce it. Dawkins was raised atheist - it's no challenge for him to declare God probably doesn't exist. I think that's why recently he's gone from mocking belief to actually mocking those that believe - let ****s get on with it if the belief itself is personal but ****ing stop them when they try to interfere in other people's lives because they believe some mis-translated parchment found in a cave.
