If De Laet gets injured the I imagine we'd go 4-4-2 and play SSL. Liam Moore wouldn't be good enough in that wingback role.
Too raw. He shows a lot of talent but lacks experience. He's still young and I imagine a season in a League One will do him to world of good.
I think its now best for Moore to stay here and compete with the first team. Michael Keane was raw last season, every player has to start somewhere. Nigel knows how to manager young players especially defenders
There are educated guesses that Blackpool and Ipswich are two other clubs after him. Ipswich are after a CB and Everton were really pleased with how Seamus Coleman was developed at Blackpool.

I personally don't think he's ready for Championship football though. I agree he needs to be played, just not at this level. We can't afford to carry players IMO.
I dont think any of us have seen enough of Moore to say he is or isnt ready for championship football. Whenever he has been called upon he has done well
Moore was one of our more 'assured' performers today ... which might not be that much of a compliment ...
They would have been my 'surprise' team caught up in the relegation struggle - but front line options including Vydra and Anelka should see them OK provided both stay fit ... piles more pressure on the promoted teams although Stoke look like they could be in for a long hard season to me (Fulham too)...
