Rule No. 1 for a defender/centre half, NEVER LET THE BALL BOUNCE - I really have no clue what the hell he was trying to do with the 4th goal but it was highly reminisant of many occasions last year where he was beaten all ends up and tried to do a feeble back flick or something similar. He was culpable for at least 2 if not 3 of the goals and this has to be bad for team morale. The guy needs a new challenge, he has been here too long and has deteriorated along with the quality of our football over this time. When we were at our peak in 2006/08, there were plenty of willing runners to cover and mistakes were not so costly but as we got worse, they were shown up in ever increasing detail. Fair play to Flint, he was obviously taking some of the flack/attention for his teammate but we have a new team now, one that is hungry and full of desire to succeed and it does not deserve/simply cannot afford to be subjected to these constant and match losing errors anymore because the support will rapidly wane. We will get another good crowd against Wolves but if LF ****s up again causing us to lose, all the good will and rediscovered enthusiam will quickly go out of the window and despite the new look, supporters will think that the biggest problem remains in place and really, nothing has changed. Do yourself a favour SoD and listen to us, LF might be Messi in training but in a League One fixture, he does a very passable impression of Bambi on ice. He might be the nicest bloke in the universe but that really isn't going to help us on the pitch is it...
Well said Prem. Only problem is whether SO'D or any previous City manager would ever bother to read what they will almost certainly consider is "amateurs trying to tell us the pros about something they don't understand in the slightest"
I think a good chunk of fans have a good understanding of football, when something is not right how do so many fans make the same noises regards what is going on when players take to the field.
