    Even if he is here for the money, the World Cup will insure he won't take his foot off the gas.

    That's what's good about the Banega and Damiao interest. These players would push our wage structure but their individual goals mean they'll be well motivated

    I'd be chuffed with either Finnbogason or Osvaldo. CB isn't a priority but I would have been pleased if we got Craig Dawson, whether it be a loan or a permanent deal as WBA don't seem to want to play him. I've wanted him since he finished League 2 with 9 goals!

    No, but there's a difference between being indifferent to a club and then choosing the one with the best wages vs. actually not wanting to play at a club and being there solely for the wage. That was part of the problem with QPR last year, I think. Not the only problem, but one of them.

    Apparently Newcastle are interested in Jelle Vossen from Genk. At £7m I think we could do a lot worse than him, I personally think he'd improve our front line quite nicely.

    Not bad article, makes him sound ideal to be honest. Pochettino could really be the pull for him if he's thinking about the move (or waiting to be offered more money?). If he needs to feel loved at a club, come to Saints, its one big love in.
