TORY SCUM
When students marched a cry went up
From Horse Guards to Millbank
The papers patronised our anger
Called us a throwback
But when we chanted “tory scum”
Our rage was well-informed
We knew their game, greedy intent
An ideological war

Out out tory scum
Out out tory scum
Out out tory scum
Tory scum, tory scum

Out out tory scum
Out out tory scum
Out out tory scum
Tory scum, tory scum

Privatising education
Selling hospitals
Destroying jobs, and benefits
For those who need them most

Out out tory scum
Out out tory scum
Out out tory scum
Tory scum, tory scum

Don’t hate disabled, immigrants
But pin the blame on your true foe
Your enemy are tory scum
And yellow-bellied sycophants

Out out tory scum
Out out tory scum
Out out tory scum
Tory scum, tory scum

Out out tory scum
Out out tory scum
Out out tory scum
Tory scum, tory scum

Out out tory scum
Out out tory scum
Out out tory scum
Tory scum, tory scum

HSBC cuts thousands of jobs as profits soar

HSBC has slashed 46,000 jobs and plans to cut a further 14,000—despite half-year profits rising 10 percent to £9.2 billion.

I dont want to get invovlved in this arguement, But monty you are well off with Police wages. Starting officers are on just 0ver 18, Money will rise with dervice, but annual increments along with any pay increase has been frozen for 5 years. Yes there are those on 30 plus, but they are the higher ranking officers with substantial service. I know that the current PCSO who wish to join the police service will have to take a massive drop in wages.

Your right there Trundle. The starting wage for a copper was 21,000 before the tories came into power, put that has been downgraded to 18k as you say <ok>
If I was in the police, my arse would be twitching right about now, because the Tories seem hell bent on privatising the police force with security companies such as G4S <doh>

new labour are (and were) well in to privatisation too, dont forget that! blair was right up thatchers arse.....

the current administration have been pretty crap, but thats with one hand behind their back due to new labour ****ing up the finances.....

the public sector is bloated, this government identifies problems well, but then executes their policies terribly, like the 'bedroom tax' , tuition fees, etc etc.

you'll all still be moaning about crap governments in 10 years, 20 years......<laugh>

And we see how well g4s did with the security at the Olympics. How many officers short. I have also seen the civilian custody officer at work. They are supplied by G4S, whilst the officers themselves are good. The organisation by the company is shocking at best.

And there we have it the tory propaganda machine is alive and well......It was a world recession that brown had to deal with plus his predecessor tory blair and his policies that brown had many arguments with tory Blair over. put that with the tory destruction of industry and privatisation of everything and you will see that gordon Brown was left with an impossible situation that all stems from the tories.....Its a bit rich that the tories are blaming labour at every opportunity when you look around you with mass unemployment, slave wages and more charity shops and food banks you can count....But hey the propaganda machine is alive and well but the tide will turn soon as the people are beginning to see through cameron and his cronies, CON by name. CON by nature....

With competency payments and a realistic amount of overtime a 21yr old constable could easily earn £30k.

Really? A 21yr old bog standard plod with no qualifications should be on £30k a year? No wonder this country went bankrupt and we now have 15yrs of Tory rule ahead of us.

yes £30k is sod all for anyone these days when backbenchers earn £73k for doing sod all...I suppose it ok for them to earn that kind of money but a professional worker should keep his place and earn £40k less..<doh> Do me a favor..<ok>

dai, new labour believe in privatisation as much as the tories do.... as for industry, the uk as a whole is uncompetitive, and voting labour in will not result in a reversal of fortunes for industry, just as in 1997.

the conservatives have every right to blame labour for the mess they inherited, get your head out of your arse.... the war criminal and brown were spending money like it was going out of fashion instead of saving it for a rainy day...... one of their last acts was paying people to go to school, ema, they couldnt run a bath.....

by the way, i know a senior policeman who retired aged 50 on a final salary pension scheme, not bad work to have if you can get it <whistle>
