Unless of course you are from the 50% of the population that are female (all figures are approximate).

The format is ****, the pisstake of the name change is all we can expect, but the nonsense about Bruce is just that. I suppose I can't complain because I believed it before he came here but really, all he's done is succeed. At Sunderland he failed to get them higher than 9th-ish, could they really expect to be any higher?

    Gerald Ratner, anyone ??

A poor comparison as they either do it willingly to create their own family, or use an amalgam of names, or simply keep their own; many revert to their maiden name when they realise they are married to a crazy Egyptian megalomaniac.

Good point comes to mind - I have heard nothing from our fantastic stable of Egyptian supporters. Has there been a comment from the fanzine?

They've got virtually everything wrong apart from the most important one of all.

I think this was down to good fortune (theirs) and SB's expertise.

I worry that SB may get tempted away - by a bigger budget, better salary and directors who are more 'football people'.

And if he does, there is NO-ONE at HCFC who knows anything about football.

He is the key to our present and future wellbeing.

I hope he is not getting itchy feet with his small budget and name change farce.

I will be gobsmacked if SB comes out and supports this name change - a change of manager is on the cards post Xmas. It's one of those Man 'common' City, Boxing Day things, that those involved will only be outspoken about when they have moved on.

Don't waste your time. Patty's knowledge of football is a as good as his knowledge of how to spell pattie.

    Hull City

    HULL CITY TIGERS.

    Im not bothered .

When asked who i support i never reply Hull City AFC

I say Hull City or the Tigers

In lifes big picture its no big deal if we are called Hull City Tigers

I reckon we all have bigger things to worry about.

I celebrate this coming season in the premier league after watching city in div 4 and Div 3 .

We have great owners even if they make or made mistakes.. in my view

We have a great manager..in my view

    I See no negatives.

    UP THE TIGERS

Steve Bruce should not even concern himself with the name change as because its pre season its become a much bigger talking point then need be, as you as fans will still call yourself Hull City, the songs will still involve Hull City, but all Bruce is concerned about is making sure you start the season well and hanging onto his job.

I'm sure as the season progresses, the changing of the name will become less of an issue, just like Newcastle and the changing of St James Park to Sports Direct Arena, all the true fans still call it ST James Park, no one really thinks of it as Sports Direct Arena.

Anyhow I believe your chairman made the change with good intentions and believes from a business aspect it will help your club and as long as he backs the manager then maybe overtime it will become less of an issue.

Hi Scarb, I'm in Scarboro at the weekend; a few shandies and a dollop of karaoke!

I have a strong view about how this has been handled, not just the name, ultimately 'Hull Tigers'. When asked who I support, when outside of Hull, I will answer 'City', the same question in Hull gets the answer of 'Hull City' (I add the 'City' bit as I do a lot of M62 corridor work and Hull says RL to many). It's always the other person who comes back with the Tigers, our nickname.

But names besides, the dishonesty of all this is beyond-the-pale and totally unacceptable.

We're not destined to agree, except, perhaps, to differ! Keep well.
