Just wandering what everybody does for their kids. I've been plagued by my boy to take him to Thorpe Park, so I've driven all the way from Kent, and now queuing to go on Saw. How far do you go to please them and have a peaceful life?
I took mine to Chessington a fortnight ago, but spent most of the weekend watching the babies while the kids went on the rides
Just taken mine to Cyprus, where he stayed in bed till about 12. No doubt you all have to do the same. Mondays Football training Tuesday, day off Wednesday, drum lessons and then football training Thursday goalkeeper coaching Friday Rugby training Saturday football match Sunday, rugby match or football match. So my time is his. But his father doesnt do anything for him.
Trundle, I know what you mean. From next week I'm back in the old routine. Monday - football training. Tuesday - rest day. Wednesday - football training/ daughter ballet. Thursday - football training. Friday - 5 side. Saturday - match. Sunday - match.
The circle of life , mine have grown up but blessed me, between them, 9 grand kids .Now thats called balancing your time (and no it's not true that you can hand them back)
I've just been corrected, that I don't have a rest day on a Tuesday, more bloody football training. I can have the evening off on a Friday now.
On a different level, I have just sold a kidney for my kids benefit. It's nothing really, my boy has got another one spare and with the cash we can all go to Euro Disney
Do us favour Never, as you're a lazy bastard on Tuesdays, any chance you can pick my youngest boy up from gymnastics?
it's good to read about so many great parents here. We might complain about how busy they keep us, but would we swap it for anything?...very doubtful isn't it?!! My current quandry is my daughter and son playing kids football at he same club, 2 years apart, but kick off at he same time!! Sometimes I'm lucky enough to have them playing on the pitches next to each other but other times I'm sprinting back and forth between two pitches hundreds of metres apart!! And in a couple of years the third one will start, I'll be in proper trouble then!
I cant moan to much, unbeknown to me Tony Penock was at my sons match on sunday and he has now been invited to train with the accademy, first one tonight. My boy cant wait.
Well done trundle. My boy trains at pompey, their training is crap. He's now started playing for Fareham Town's u18's not bad for a 15 Year old. Now their training is soo much better. Dilli don't know what games I'm going to make now he's playing Saturday and Sundays. I'm hoping that his first game is in September so I can get to the WBA game.
