I'm not a fan of his at all however it's the first person I've seen in any of the daily rags to tip us to stay up - although I'm not sure about his comments on our players - I would have thought Aluko was worth a mention rather than McLean.....

I was going to post it earlier, but everyone was arguing so it likely would have been ignored.

Interestingly he has nearly the same table prediction as mine.

I think he must be confused about McLean.
Bruce seems to have got the team playing well - but when is pre-season any guide? At least Bruce wont let any early successes go to his head.

Say what you want about his past, he is one pundit of a very very elite few that actually have any clue about what they're talking about.

Supposed to like this but it's impossible to hit the right icon on an iPhone. I agree entirely. Collymore is one of the better pundits.

Tony cottee on talksport earlier reckons us and palace are certainties for the drop, the way he was talking he thought palace had a better chance of staying up than us

The London media always favour their local teams, the bias twats. It's part and parcel of how they work.

you need to look at the manager, which one has the most experience in relegation dog-fights. Steve Bruce V Ian Holloway.
I'd say SB had the most experience in PL and with us he has a 49% win rate which is extremely impressive compared to Holloway's 35%.

As much as I agree, you have to remember that Bruce has been in the Prem for many seasons with three different clubs whereas Holloway has only been in it for one season.

Stan Collymore is one of the better pundits. Anoth being Charlie Nicholas on sky sports. Chris kamara and Peter Beagrie are other good pundits. Gary Neville and Jamie Carragher say it as it is but again dont often see beyond the big clubs. The rest imo are just cluless hacks who dont do any research and just look at the big teams.

I see a few other PL teams with much bigger problems than Hull City in trying to stay up. :emoticon-0103-cool:

Tony Cottee is in line for a good slap along with the likes of Tony Gale, Paul Walsh, Paul Merson and LeTiss.
All the southern pundits are clueless and dont see anything outside of the big clubs and London.

    100% agreed ^^^^ this.
